In Ruby Red Texas the first domino is starting to fall for the wild eyed assertions about Mexico and/or Schizophrenic trade policy or lack there of.

Quote-
"The Trump administration represents a risk to international economic conditions and global sovereign credit fundamentals," according to Fitch. "U.S. policy predictability has diminished, with established international communication channels and relationship norms being set aside and raising the prospect of sudden, unanticipated changes in U.S. policies with potential global implications."

The irony, of course, is that states like Texas, the plains states and Michigan all helped put Trump in office. But the cows in pasture don't care about politics. And cowboys rightly don't care about irony, even if they are to be its first casualties

I wonder how the ag. community likes being the canary in the coal mine when it comes to a trade war.

Sad.

I'm sure there will be a period of adjustment for some folks. Not unlike making a 3.5 million acre Monument or destroying the coal industry, or curtailing 90% of the timber harvesting on NF land. Maybe the Texas ranchers can get some wolves. They bring in huge tourist dollars from what I hear.

We've been seeing it in the hay export market for a while now. the buyers are playing it real safe over fears of Trump screwing around with the chink's .

Mexico is a huge buyer of US ag products. even the speculation of trade problems will hurt.

Republicans have never given a FF about ag. and Trump cares less than that.

264Fag,

That is some funny stuff. Unlike you I don't have a gay love affair with any president. I hold them all to an equal standard.

That spray tan that is rubbing off Trump on to you must contain some kind of chick pheromone to make you idolize him. Next you will be making your mascara run when you cry over how unfair the Press is to your boyfriend.
