After reading some of the threads in this segment of the board I find it laughable that the left sticks with the left and the right sticks with the right on almost every issue and so called scandal that comes up. I for one and an American and do not consider myself to be left or right, just American. I vote in all the elections, I chose the person that is going to receive my vote based on actions not words. We all know that to be a politician you have to have two virtues to qualify. The first is you have to be a good liar. You have to be willy to look your fellow citizens in the eye and tell them a outright lie. The second is you have to be willing to sell your soul or views out to the highest bidder. If you have these two qualities you have a future in American politics. I for one am fed up with all the special interest groups and political lobbyists carrying to much sway in our system of government. Nothing, I repeat nothing gets done in this country without someone getting paid off or robbed. It is a disgrace and we the people should demand better. As for Mr. Trump as our President, hell the man can't do any worse that Obama now can he. I know after 8 years of Obama in office I am no better off, I pay higher taxes and my freedoms have diminished. Now in 4 years of Trump, the jury is still out, I can only hope things get better and the future starts to look brighter. However until then I will with hold judgment until the facts speak for themselves. If the man can make things better for all of us, I am behind him. If nothing else some of the posts on here are very humorous and sure do make for good reading. So you posters just keep posting all the left right BS it is good reading. Just remember you are an American at the end of the day.

Obama's presidency was far from perfect or the best anyone has ever seen , but to say Trump couldn't do worse is a moronic thing to say. something only someone who's looking for an excuse for their personal underperformance would come up with.

Obama traded foreign for home grown, and bodies are bodies.
With liberal courts blocking his efforts, any terrorist attack in the next year will be on the courts, not Trump.

Yes Obama ran the debt up. but he did have an economy to save and multiple wars to fight. Trump only has a fraction of forces deployed and a robust economy on day one. so what amount of debt is acceptable from Trump under current conditions?



Look at the deficit drop as the economy improved, given the state of affairs when Trump took office the debt should be a MAXIMUM of 400 billion for 2018 to be the same as Obama , agreed? now, since Trump promised the debt would be gone at the end of his 8 years ( Ha!! ) so how much will he reduce it his first 4 ?
