I wonder at what point they will realize the current Trumpcare bill pleases nobody? It doesn't appear they can split the baby in half enough to placate the freedom caucus and the moderates.

Now the conservatives have at least $300 million reasons to give Trump the finger on this dog of a bill. The Koch Bros., who really are Billionaires, are flexing their wallets in giving aid and comfort to the conservatives opposed to the bill.

Given that the Donald said he can make any deal and be the closer on any deal I wonder if this does go down in flames what the excuse will be?

If this one goes down, how much harm does it do to the President credibility and to his ability to move his agenda through?

The process working as it should. The only ones thinking this hurts trump are those who couldn't get barracks balls deep enough in their throat.
 
Keep on telling yourself what ever it you need to in order to avoid the fact that it is a shyt show. It is all going great and it will be a beautiful and terrific plan that doesn't do anything he promised.

Do tell how this helps, I am curious if you are as nimble with your excuses as ole Don Peay was on the radio the other day. Has Trump ever done any thing wrong?

Of course he has, I'd like to see him twitter less. The process and the documents of our founding fathers work perfectly when followed.

He did send Bannon up to the hill to drum up support. Bannon doesn't seem like a guy who can make a deal like this. Also why would they need Bannon at all if The Donald is the Closer, per Spicer.

Nemont Trump sending Bannon to get support is no different then the Insurance companies using you to close a deal of selling insurance to a client who may be undecided until you give your pitch to them.

I will wait to see how things go before I open my mouth and maybe stick my foot in it before we see how this works out.

I will make a prediction. If the Republicans get this bill through it will mean that they have walked the plank for Trump and can kiss the House Majority good bye if not in 2018, then certainly in 2020.

In it's current form the Trump bill punishes his core supporters in the states he won. That is Karma at it's best.

Have you read the white paper from the countries leading actuary? The one who got the Obamacare impact correct? It states the Trumpcare would take up to 4 years to have a reduction in rates of 10% off what they would have been.

Even CATO knows what is going to happen to Trump voters:

Tanner agrees that under the GOP alternatives ?there are going to be winners and losers ? and the losers are most likely to be older, sicker, blue-collar workers, which is a Trump constituency. The winners are going to be educated, white-collar, wealthier, and younger people who were not the Trump constituency.?

Yet another Loss for Trump and it shows how weak he is.

Trump tried to rally the troops and they ignored him. he tried to threaten them and they said GFYS. his influence only degrades from here forward. the king has no cloths.


Whatever they do to pacify the far right and get the votes they need only makes the bill more unpopular to the public.

Do the match chumps, Obamacare gets more popular as Trump gets less popular. the GOP had better figure it even if you're too dumb to.

If this was good legislation it should be easy to defend and easy to pass. Why the Rush to act like the Democrats when they passed the ACA... and shoot themselves in the foot in the process? Put forward a better bill that actually does something positive for the American people.
 
I seem to remember the Donald telling Ryan to put a bill on his desk and he would sign it. He also said it might be better to let Ocare ride and let it collapse into chaos. Either way we are going to see how well Obamacare works by next year. I think the republicans will be better off if they leave it alone.
 
Even if they pass it today it dies in the senate. so if it passes today it's only because they know they're safe from the certain disaster they'd face in 2018 if it became law.

Does anyone need a reminder of what Trump promised? it has nothing in common with what he's demanding they pass NOW. or does anyone even give a FF ? this bill is indefensible .
