RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

It wasn't priceless....it cost you $500.

Every Democrat voted for Obamacare and zero would vote for Ryancare. Now, that's priceless.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

How many republicans voted for Obamacare?

From here forward congress will give Trump the finger without hesitation. his threats are meaningless and he's toothless. baby man is a humble bumble.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

LAST EDITED ON Mar-24-17 AT 11:24PM (MST)[p]Then again not every Republican voted for Ry..Trumpcare did they? I don't care about the political scoreboard all I know is that 24 million of my neighbors will not lose their insurance and I'm good with that.

Undo the previous Republican sabotage to the ACA for now. The next step is Single Pay and now is a threshold moment to really put together a comprehensive plan and become the global leader in healthcare.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

I guess 7 years wasn't enough time to draft a working plan. this is a case of the dog who caught the car.

Now baby man says he wasn't really serious about this, it wasn't a top priority. and he never promised to do it in 64 days anyway. well, this time it's not a typical Trump lie. actually he promised it would happen on day one.

priceless.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

We have the best doctors in the world providing the best care in the world. Our system may not be the best but the care can't be beat. Personal responsibility is a factor in some of the statistics you lean on.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

Your almost about 50% right on this one Tog.

Ryan care was a turd in the punch bowl, and we are all better off that it went down.

Trump took some damage, but if anyone thinks this was a fatal blow, well.... just go back and look at all the torpedoes he took during the primaries and campaign.

I could write the basic framework for a better plan, just about anyone could.
The republicans made that exact same mistake the demos made, only they made them much faster.

Healthcare reform, real reform is a giant process with at least three parts that need to by passed IN ORDER;

#1 Reduce the overall cost of healthcare in America.
Cut the massive fraud and waste, cut the expensive liberal feel good unnecessary crap.
Streamline it and make it efficient. Cut the cost and number of non-medical personal required to run the system. Reduce the American expense of drug trials by sharing the burden with everybody.

#2 (really 1-B) Immigration reform, get the illegals out of the emergency waiting room, and back across the border. The expense of free healthcare for illegal immigrants is staggering.

#3 Then and only then design a coverage and payment system that spreads the burden over a much wider base, everybody must have skin in the game.
Many of the reforms I have suggested here will cause Republicans to scream and cry, but it's the only way. Many of these changes will cause Democrats to shriek and protest, but without addressing all of this, we will just end up with Obama care 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0.
Same problems.

Now Trump's strategy is to wait for the ACA to fail so he can force through a chit bill like he has today. what if it doesn't fail? what if it takes years to fail ? what in the mean time?

This is not an acceptable way to govern. if the ACA has problems the leadership has an obligation to fix them. no program has ever been perfect from the start . not even the constitution. everything needs modifications.

To just sit with their fingers in their butts until they have the votes to do worse is not a strategy. unless dereliction of duty is a strategy. the GOP is banking on the blame going to the democrats, it doesn't work that way in private business and it doesn't work that way in politics. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when that hits home.

You are a Trumpite through and through. He lost because of his own party not because of democrats. He has a majority in both the House and Senate who claim to hate Obamacare and have run on repeal for the last three elections. Voters gave them the power to repeal it and what has he done with that power? Not a phuccking thing.

Trump wants to give me a giant tax cut that will be paid for by the working man and then put the building of the wall on the backs of my grand children by borrowing the money to pay for it.

You can pretend like I voted for Obama if that makes your wet dreams easier to sleep through but the fact remains that biggest enemies of public land hunters all call Utah home and you keep sending back to DC like the lemming you are. At some point you are going to have to explain to you grandchildren why they have no where to hunt and why they have to work so hard to pay off the debt your generation has run up. Too bad you don't give damnn about them.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

Pretty simple fix for the entire mess. Means test SS and Medicare. If you have a couple of million$ in accounts you get nothing until that money is gone. That would make Nemont happy and is the right thing to do. Now who in the Congress will start that ball rolling?

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

LAST EDITED ON Mar-27-17 AT 10:21AM (MST)[p]I am happy right now. My happiness has zero to do with politics, I just enjoy pointing out the hollow argument and stupidity of so called conservatives who take with both hands and whine about liberals.

Means testing will never happen because there isn't a Republican in congress who wants to take on the those medicare and social security. Instead they vow to never touch either program, use a "free market" approach to affect the 7% of people who get their coverage on the individual market and then they vote against their own party.

If the Republicans cannot do health care when they have had 7 years to craft a viable policy then they cannot begin to deal with the issues facing the country. They are supposed to be the adults in the room, the tempering influence to demand how we pay for things, to make the compelling conservative case for how personal, fiscal and budgetary responsibility make our lives better. Instead they punt when given the power by the voters to affect change.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

I wouldn't say we have the worst healthcare it's actually the complete opposite. Tear your ACL in canada and see how long it takes for an operation. Oh and we have hospitals like primary childrens which people come from all over to get the best healthcare possible. What about the Huntsman Cancer hospital people come from all over to be seen at that location as well. We have great healthcare just garbage plans because the jack A## of the last 8 years.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

LAST EDITED ON Mar-27-17 AT 11:20AM (MST)[p]Is care at these world class facilities expensive or inexpensive? If it is just the insurance that is the problem then explain the free market alternative without any insurance that: 1. Pays for world class facilities, 2. Protects from catastrophic expenses and 3. allows more people to be able to get their care paid for.

One should have some intellectual honesty in where we are. We now have heard that Trump is going to reach out to the Democrats to get help passing his agenda. Doesn't that mean there will be less conservative proposals made to get some dems to play? The Republicans crapped in their own box on health care.

Now President is in a real dilemma. He can't bring conservatives to the table to pass the one thing he promised on day one. Unlike Reagan he is not personally popular enough to make a grand bargain along bipartisan lines and he has never reached across the aisle so there is zero reason for a democrat to reach back. He isn't a great deal maker as he claimed nor a great closer as Spicer and company have said.

I thought we were all Buddies here.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

264,

Buddies? I treat this forum as just entertainment and to see what the 24 hour new cycle produces. It is a funny place.

Like I said before the ONLY person on this board I would never invite to hunt or fish is Manny. I would not trust him around my family or home.

As for the whining that I hurt Elkass's feelers, who gives a phuuck.

Moron is a term once used in psychology to denote intellectual disability. It is similar to imbecile and idiot

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

When they start a grammar and spelling forum you can be the moderator. Until then you are just a broken down Utard sucking the government nipple while stealing from your grand children and complaining about the government that feeds you.

RE: Priceless, Totally Priceless

utards should be good spellers. with 15 moms one of them should be able to teach the kids.
