Never heard of anybody shopping for an immunity deal over a hoax, have you? Told you boyz right after the election this Russia stuff was going to get exposed and to be wary of this administration. My how things have changed in just 70 days.

Trump said he knew how to " surround himself with terrific fantastic fabulous people " . and that would include Flynn.


I can see how this is going to play out, Trump will say Flynn has been proven a liar so anything he has to say is " fake news " . never mind Trump has been proven a liar multiple times, Flynn is different.


Whatever comes of this investigation, or should I say these investigations this will never go away. he will forever be comrade Trump.

Both congressional investigations can.

So far nobody has granted him immunity. if they have enough evidence they won't need to.

A foreign agent that was paid $500K by Edrogan for a snatch and grab. He wanted Woolsey in, Woolsey took one look around and turned in his resignation.

Flynn is not doing anything that has not been done before, it's the old 1-2. Whether or not he was a registered foreign agent is secondary to the investigating committees. So he is dangling to turn on Dear Leader to get off the hook for the not registering.

Tog is correct, once all the pieces are in place they may not need to make any deals.

Flynn said on Meet the Press that,"When you are given immunity, that means you have probably committed a crime."

We will find out if he really has the goods on Dear Leader. His lawyer will offer a Proffer as to what he will say in exchange for immunity.

Then again its all just a hoax, right?
 
FW you are more pathetic then Manny with your liberal flapping mouth. I did not see you flapping your mouth during the Clinton investigation when 5 of her aides were granted immunity by the FBI.

Those aides were Cheryl Mills, Heather Samuelson, John Bentel, Bryan Pagliano, and Paul Combeita. You also did not flapp your mouth in disdain when Pagliano still refused to answer questions after being granted immunity and refused to answer a subpoena and testify before Congress.

Yes we are accustomed to your liberal Democrat double standard by now. So go crawl back into your snake hole and hide like the snake in the grass you have shown to be.

You are using your hatred for Trump by even bringing up the immunity thing. What you have failed to recognize is that Trump fired him for lying. Did your favorite savior, Obama fire Lois Lerner for her scandal?, No he did not. Did Obama fire the head of ATF for their scandal of "Fast and Furious"? No he did not. Did Obama fire Loretta Lynch for her indiscretion of meeting with Bill Clinton when his wife was the suspect of a possible criminal investigation? No he did not. Did Obama fire Susan Rice for her repeated lies about the attack on our embassy? No he did not, he probably put her up to it to protect his re-election.
I guess Trump is already ahead of Obama on dealing with bad appointees and you can not recognize that fact due to your liberal hatred.

I have my reservations about Trump, but he is far better then that lying community organizer you voted for twice.

Can anyone explain the connection between Flynn wanting immunity to testify and Obama not firing people? Those seem mutually exclusive but please connect it for me.

Also can you answer why, if nothing regarding the contact between the Trump Campaign and the Russians was ever improper, Flynn would need immunity? He said himself that anyone who needs immunity probably committed a crime.

How do you know his testimony doesn't implicate the previous administration?
 
he has smart attorneys. Immunity keeps him from getting trapped on questions of Turkey and intelligence sharing. My bet is he will do no harm to Trump but may just light up the Hillary campaign based on his knowledge from the Obama administration. looks like a perfect setup to me.

Watch next there will be irresistable calls for an independent investigation of the matter because of the actions of Nunes et al. Once Trump loses control of it and everything can be looked at, the actions of the prior administration will become secondary and all the energy in DC will be tied up on this issue. Whether or not there was collusion almost become immaterial to the process. All the political oxygen is being burned up on this. For a guy with little starting political capital he sure spends it freely on things that do no good for the American people.

If Trump practiced business the way he practices politics he would be sued for malpractice. Oh wait he has been, Trump University settlement was finalized today.

The Democrats are not making any deals with Flynn due to the fact they are sure he can not give them information that will hurt Trump. If he had that information to hurt Trump, the Democrats would be falling over themselves rushing to the deal table.
As for Flynn asking for immunity, that is likely on the advice of his attorneys who are being over cautious and not trusting the Democrats on the committee who will try to make Flynn into a scapegoat just to damage Trump by association.

Dude have you noticed how quiet Adam Schiff has been about the so called Russian connection after being allowed to view the information that Nunes was given. That should tell you something when Schiff could only pitch a b!tch about the protocol of how that information was shared with Trump and nothing about what was in the content.
Nunes did the right thing to circumvent Schiff and prevent the information from not seeing the light of day.

Tell me where does Adam Schiff gets into the meat of the substance on those documents. He does not, instead he refrains from doing so by declaring them matters of intelligence.
He says the committee also got the same documents a week ago. Have you seen the two sets of documents?
If someone else on the committee got the documents a week ago, why does it appears that Nunes was not informed of it. It looks like Nunes was not informed until he received his documents at a later date. Did the Democrats try to hide those documents from the GOP members? Something more is going on here that is hard to put a finger on it.
I believe what I have said before, that committee is not working together to get to the truth but allowing politics to run the show. I trust Schiff about as far as I trust Schumer or Pelosi.

How do you know there isn't something that could exonerate the Trump campaign?

If there was definitive proof of no meat or better yet for the Trumpateers something they can pin on Obama why not demand an independent investigation?

Did you the president forget to sign those executive orders when Flynn's name came up? Seems odd.

Do you really truly believe if there was some substance to those documents against Trump that Adam Schiff and other Democrats would fail to be on the Whitehouse steps and giving all to the press.

If Flynn had the meat on Obama then why wouldn't the Republican chair of the House and Senate intel committees jump on the immunity deal? You do understand which party has the power, right?

I suspect that Flynn told his attorneys something that made them decide they didn't want to risk their client. Given the indifference to Flynn the senate Republican showed him it must either be nothing or possibly embarrassing to somebody. The fact the Republican chair didn't agree with Trump that immunity should be given doesn't mean Flynn has something on Obama.

Like I said at some point this is going to end up with an independent committee or prosecutor and once the politicians lose control of it then real damage is done.

Meat or no meat it becomes the daily drip, drip, drip and the cloud over everything.

A lot this is a self inflicted wound and the President was the one who aimed at himself. Be glad you don't have Sean Spicer's job.

He was canned by General Mattis in Afghanistan for security breaches and by Obama for insubordination and by Trump for lying so if you want to hang your hat on him have at it.

Can you find where either Mattis or Obama sang his praises after canning him? Only Trump.

I guess we shall see. Trump didn't want to can him. VP Pence had to explain the President Trump that you can't trust liars. If Pence was not a man of character Flynn would still be there.

I will make a prediction, Flynn holds more possibly embarrassing info on the Trump team than he has on the Obama team. As close as he was to Trump, if he has the goods on Obama we would seen it in a tweet.

The longer this goes on the more and more time and attention it sucks up, the less and less room Trump will have to maneuver. It isn't going to matter soon whether or not there is any meat. Trump is being damaged politically and he is spending political capital he can't afford.

Only the Trumpateers remain in denial that all this doesn't matter or that getting his @ss handed to him on health doesn't matter or his challenges with what is true doesn't matter.

Flynn is a side show that doesn't help Trump at all.

I do not think Flynn has the goods on Trump or Obama. Only possible violations on himself. The gist of this is that as long as this plays out and no concrete evidence on Trump. It will harm the credibility of the Democrats in the long run. Most people will remember that they were the ones THAT REALLY DID FIX THE ELECTION IN FAVOR OF HILLARY and nothing came of their accusations against Trump.
The sad part of it is the fact that if Trump did screw up and commit a future violation, no one but the hard core left wing liberals will believe the Democrats yelling about it. In the meantime nothing is getting done by Congress due to the Democrats and their phony political bull$hit of disrupting any meaningful progress.

Why would have Republican chaired committee have ever opened an investigation into the Trump campaign/Russian question if they saw no issues?

Why would Flynn fear prosecution from a Trump administration justice department of he spilled the beans on Obama misdeeds?

I get it that you think the democrats are evil and should just crawl away but if Trump has any hope at all of righting the ship, he needs them. If for nothing else to use as his foil for when he loses, like he did on health care.

Did you watch any of the Senate hearing? The testimony was quite interesting and it painted Trump as basically a troll for Russia misinformation campaign.

I have no love for liberal policy, their gun agenda is anti American, their idea of government in every aspect of my life makes me want to puke. None of that makes the Russian connection to people around Trump less of an issue.

You can think all the stink will only stick to the Democrats but independent voters are fleeing from supporting Trump in droves. Only the dyed in the wool Trumpeters believe this doesn't harm him politically.

When you start out not having a majority and work to make it even a smaller number, that is bad mojo.

What Flynn has to say or does not have to say is only a small part of this chit mess. he could blow it up in Trump's face, he cannot make it go away. so there's no win for Trump in his testimony either way.

Let's hear what Sally Yates has to say, if Nunes will let her. why cancel the meeting ? if RELH was anything more than a meter reader he could come up with a great reason for this. want to try old timer? tell us why there's nothing to see here.

I'm not predicting how it will come out. unlike you I just want to see it played out.

I don't think Trump is smart enough to pull off such a complicated endeavor. so if you're afraid of a direct link between him and the kremlin I wouldn't fear it. what I would fear is him having knowledge of it and lying about it.

In any event it's a damn big deal and it's serious. you can play FOX anchor with your minions but it doesn't fly with the majority of americans. we want the truth whatever it is.
