Call it the Trump effect. One thing that Trumpcare has done is make Obamacare more popular then it has ever been.

Independents Lead Shift Toward Approval of Affordable Care Act

U.S. Adults support for Obamacare

Nov 2016 42%
Mar 2017 55%

Since election +13

The Republicans are playing with political poison if the go ahead without a better plan. What is their plan?

This one is so easy to respond to. if Obamacare sucks so bad why doesn't dear leader fix it for us? as he promised, many times .

Would you like me to post video of him promising a fabulous replacement, on day one, we'll all love. with lower premiums. and lower deductibles. for EVERYONE. I think you've seen it but I sure can.

You stupid chumps.

When the same number of independents want to keep the ACA and fix it, you know you are swimming up stream and against the wishes of the majority.

At some point the politicians will figure out they will lose their jobs if they repeal and there isn't a better deal out there.

Significant changes to the law would be acceptable but the dummies have never ran on fixing the law, only on repealing it. So now they are stuck with it.

I don't worry about this ,I live in California and we have Eric Holder and the rest who will take care of everything. The Obama scam was failing before they passed it.

Well Trump has really came up with a terrific plan to replace it with, right. If it is failing then why won't Trump roll out his Beautiful plan that covers everyone for less money and still keeps all the protections for Preexisting and staying on your parents plan until age 26?

I understand the law is on shaky ground but let's be a little honest here. Insurance companies have to decide this month what they will do for 2018. The House goes on a two week vacation tomorrow and only meets for four days at the end of the month. When they return they will have to agree on CR to keep the government funded. That means this terrible obamacare is going to be the law for the 2018, which is also the midterm election so nothing will get done. Nothing on day and nothing on day 365 either so what good is the Republican party?

If it is a terrible law and has to be repealed how come there isn't a replacement plan that is popular with more than 17% of the American people? Or do you not care that Trump and Congress don't seem to be a capable of fixing something that is broken and hurting people?

I guess because its 2000 pages full of laws that I haven read.

So you really don't know, don't care and are unwilling to educate yourself about the law. So is Trump.

NO! maybe get the Hot Tar and Feathers for ass holes that think they know what I need.

Well be both know you will never muster up the gumption to tar and feather anyone so let's end that charade now.

So tell me why you would be okay with Trump telling you what you need but not anyone else? It should be obvious to anyone watching that they have no plan that has been agreed upon and all the golf outings with Rand Paul doesn't move moderates closer to walking the plank and doing a full repeal.

Obama care ain't working maybe for you.

Nemont- I read that more insurance companies are going to drop out. At some point they will need to call you as an expert witness to come up with a health plan that actually works. I wonder how many people will vote to like the ACA after nothing is available in their state?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-05-17 AT 02:52PM (MST)[p]Lot's of companies are going to leave. There is a possibility that there will be over Anthem could pull up stakes and they are the only insurer in 300 counties across the country.

Anthem is already the ONLY insurer in 300 counties and there is talk of them leaving the marketplace.

oneinsurer_zpsimsvs1xn.jpg

Now do this, tell me what Trump and the Republican controlled congress has done to help the American people not have to deal with this?

What will voters do, if the Republicans punt on health care? If they are in power when the system goes t!ts up and they have lifted not a single finger to offer an alternative, the is bad mojo.

Nemont

Trump made " yuge " promises and he failed. now he owns it there is just no way around that .

The GOP knows it and that's why Trump is back peddling on his vow to let the ACA stand. but rather than make it better they're trying to make it worse to pick up the teabagger vote. at the expense of the moderate vote.

They already said phuk the poor, let's phuk the sick too. gotta love those Christ like republicans.

Don't play the blame game.

Blame game? Stating the obvious has nothing to do with the blame game. The Republicans are in charge, they have ran for 7 years and got power by telling the voters that the ACA is a terrible law. Now they have the power and they are punting on it. That would all be fine if real people didn't get hurt in the process.

I guess if the Republicans suck at governing then it is going to be long four years.

At least President Bannon has to sit out of the loop when it comes to our security.

Nemont

Obamacare is really very popular now. Everyone I talk to is thrilled about their new 2017 plan. They came out of the woodwork like POOF! They sit around the campfire at night flicking their lighters in remembrance of the good old days of Obama.

If it was not a terrible law then it would be working. The republicans were correct. To blame them for it is bull$hit. Not one of them voted for it. If the democrats are so great why have none of them tried to work on a fix? Not one of them has taken Ryan or Trump up on the offer to get involved. If some responsible democrats would work on the fix it would be a better bill and it would pass. look to Pelosi and Schumer if you want to place blame.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-05-17 AT 09:06PM (MST)[p]responsible democrats? I thought the left had no redeeming value and zero solutions for anything? What is it it for them to work with Trump? Ryan said there is no need to even talk to any democrats.

I don't blame the Republicans for the ACA. I blame them for 7 years of whining about it and then not doing a thing about it even though they hold all the power.

Also the president said it was a day one deal that would be so easy. Now he is stuck with almost all bad options. He can't get a bill that is acceptable to the Freedom caucus and the moderates and as long as the Republicans are locked in a battle with each other why would any get between them.

Why don't they simply pass the same repeal bill that got all the way to the president's desk but Obama vetoed it? the republicans needed zero help with that one when they knew there would be no chance of it passing nut now that a full repeal would actually be signed, now they need democrats. That is a losers argument.

I guess none of you Trumpettes remember Jan. 2016

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/08/politics/obama-vetoes-obamacare-repeal-bill/index.html

Quote:

House Speaker Paul Ryan pledged to hold an override vote.

"It's no surprise that someone named Obama vetoed a bill repealing Obamacare," Ryan said in a statement.

"But here's the thing. The idea that Obamacare is the law of the land for good is a myth. This law will collapse under its own weight, or it will be repealed. Because all those rules and procedures Senate Democrats have used to block us from doing this? That's all history," he added. "We have now shown that there is a clear path to repealing Obamacare without 60 votes in the Senate. So, next year, if we're sending this bill to a Republican president, it will get signed into law."

Where is that bill that passed the House with Freedom Caucus support and moderates and nary a single democrat voted for it?
