47 Christians killed by radical Muslims in ISIS and news says "47 people killed in church blasts." By targeting the Christian minority (10% of population) the radical Muslims hope to unify Muslims behind ISIS. Someone should just say - Here's a really politically incorrect moment ... Islam is the most intolerant religion in the world. (Hindus are running a close second in India.) Nuns are not blowing up Mosques. Are there moderate Muslims? Yes. Unfortunately, the more Muslims you have the more likely the occurrence of terrorism.

Talk to liberals in France. It's a mess. Same in Sweden. And Belgian territory is now a beehive of extremism. Egypt cannot protect its Christian minority. What do they have in common? Islam. I think it's time Christians got some nerve and openly declared that Christianity and Christian civilization is the only religious worldview that allows for genuine diversity and tolerance. Christianity is the only religion with a track record of providing the hope of domestic tranquility and economic flourishing. European and American Democracy is the byproduct of Christian civilization. The nations are going to align for or against Christianity. It's inevitable.

Christ is not only the answer to the broken human condition, Christianity is the answer to the broken condition of nation. Any alternative is a counterfeit, and the counterfeit for Christ will produce hell on earth.

You should read Teddy Roosevelt's view of Religion. You wouldn't like what he has to say about it. He was way too inclusive and he believed that the Constitution applied to more than white, male, Christians. He was the original progressive.

It is a sad statement on the Church in America when the self righteous cry about the deaths of 47 people and ignore the deaths of 400,000 in the Syrian civil war. On the scale of tragedy the 400,000 deaths is higher. The Syrian civil war kills at least 47 innocent people every day yet self professed Christians who think they hold some kind of morally superior position just yawn at those deaths. Of course those dead are brown people who live in a Muslim Country. Church people who wear their religion on their sleeve seem to be bankrupt of any actual empathy or love of their fellow man.

As for Christianity being the only path to prosperity, how do you explain the explosive growth of the Chinese economy? They are an atheist country.

Capitalism has zero to with Christianity in fact they are almost mutually exclusive. The tenets of Capitalism is are that each person seek their own interests in economic activities, gain profit to the extent possible, seek individual freedoms and to be governed by the rule of law not the rule of man or by the law of God. Almost to a word those tenets are diametrically opposed to the Christian faith.
