Couple of things: McCain can be completely wrong on Syria and still be correct that Trump is a floppy haired cartoon character who is winging it.

The Marine artillery unit deployments and our airlift of Kurdish forces were ordered by Trump so the suggestion that Trump is better than anyone else on Syria is just a bunch of girlish man worship by people invested in the "Trump is the greatest ever" band wagon.

McCain has never met a war he didn't think we should join in on. Remember he traveled to Syria and wanted Obama to send weapons and supplies way back in 2013?

I would be more outraged at McCain's calls for more boots on the ground if it wasn't for the fact that our President hadn't already more than doubled the number there just in March.

We shouldn't be involved period but we now know that Trump again doesn't mean what he says. Remember candidate Trump's position on Syria?
