Bad Day For Terrorists

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

LAST EDITED ON Apr-24-17 AT 06:23PM (MST)[p]Did the Feds ever remove the cattle? Or did they all retire early with PTSD?

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

Sounds like they got a fair trial by a jury of their peers and must answer for the violations they were convicted of.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

The feds didn't stumble they got 2 convictions. and they had clowns like you on the jury so we go again. it's not over it just starts over.

It's a federal court the state of OR had no input dum dum. ask your Lavoy hero what happens when the state has a say. oh wait, you can't. he's dead.

The Bundy's can only pray to the star man they get a few Taliban members on the jury so they can get a mistrial too. it's as close to freedom as they're going to get.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

Dude you keep insinuating how Oregon would go tough on the Bundy group. Last year a federal jury comprised of Oregon citizens on the jury acquitted 7 members of the Bundy group on all charges on their takeover of that BLM site in Oregon.

It seems the citizens of Nevada are far tougher on the Bundy crowd then your state was.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

My confidence in the jury system doing the right thing continues to erode. These people are clearly guilty. I am concerned some jello spined jurors won't have balls enough to convict the Bundys. If they go free the emboldened right wing wack jobs will be Unstoppable. They are radicalized just like the Muslims you love to hate. You won't be safe on public lands.

It's great fun to sit back and cheer for the Bundy followers taking on the feds but a look at history of the Utah territory should tell you this is serious sh!t. In my mind one cannot follow any of their thinking and consider themselves a western hunter. You can't have both public lands access AND the doctrine the Bundys preach without being a hypocrite.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

NVBighorn you hit it right on the nail head. Bundy wanted a free ride on public land and is a insult on every good rancher that pays the reasonable fees to graze cattle on public land.

Bess, you're asking in the wrong place. I agree with you. I think everyone here agrees with you on that. However, if the feds started acting as soon as someone begins to do wrong you'd be the first one on here b!tching about government overreach. You be putting bullshit in your signature about a cherry red smoking barrel and saying we need to stand up for something.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

Jurors in the Malheur case said they did not think the terrorists were innocent, they said they couldn't convict under the letter of the law as the feds prosecuted.

also the juror who would have caused a hung jury just like yesterday was dismissed for not falling in line. to this day there has been no valid explanation other than he once worked for BLM, which he disclosed during jury selection. . the whole trial was a phuk up and the feds learned from it.

A federal court decision has no relevance to the attitude of the residents or the state government. as a so called cop you should understand that.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

It's funny we don't ever read much about the hundreds of people who get arrested for destroying public property every year. Where is the news about their trials?

Throwing rocks and bricks at police officers is not assault worthy of national attention? I guess it's just kids being kids.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

Bessie, you are either being stupid, stubborn, or both.

This is now the 2nd time I have answered your grand question.

"And Once again I Ask Why they didn't do something with them Decades ago?

Nobody Will Man-Up & Answer that Question"

https://www.reviewjournal.com/news/nation-and-world/bundys-federal-feud-timeline-of-events/

The fact is the gubbermint did everything they could do to keep the matter civil and give Bundy the chance to do the right thing. Bundy exercised every means available to appeal and drag out the process which is his right. But in the end every appeal was dismissed.

So stop asking!

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

They should both get equal justice, and equal press coverage. One should not be made out as victims and one demonized by the media.

If you were out hunting on public land who would you rather run into? A Bundy supporter or a Black Lives Matter activist?

The Bundy supporter would probably tell you where he saw a buck and wish you well. The BLM supporter would probably kill you and take your gun and kill a cop with it.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

A black activist on the BLM in Harney county. that is funny right there. you've never been to Harney county have you?

If a black activist ever did find himself in Harney county, and if he pointed an AR-15 at a law enforcement officer I really doubt he's get any warmer response than Lavoy did. and you would be all grins rather than tears when it happened.

Don't be such a hypocrite.

Okay, since you brought up Harney Co. If they shot and killed a Black Lives Matter activist the headlines would read

"Burns Burns to the Ground".

"Nation Wide Protests Erupt Into Violence"

"Al Sharpton Says White Cops Are The Problem"

See the difference, hypocrite?

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

I don't know RELH. Tog doesn't know it but I've spent quite a bit of time in Eastern Oregon back in the day. I wonder if Tog knows that the ranchers were all pro Claude Dallas. I even had one rancher offer to let me poach a deer on his ranch.

RE: Bad Day For Terrorists

They were not all pro Claud Dallas. by a long stretch.

this was not in Harney county anyway so I'm not sure what the point is. unless you're trying to prove there really is white privilege. let a spook or a muslim run from the law in the sage brush country and see how much help he gets from the locals. that's a good one, what an idiot.

If a black activist, or muslim group ever took over federal buildings or pointed Rambo guns at law enforcement they'd get the same treatment or worse. and you hypocrites would be screaming for the feds to kill them. you're liars if you claim otherwise.
