Let's see The People's Republic of North Korea has been in a state of war with us since 1950. 3 years of killing and maiming from 1950-1953. Then an uneasy peace from 1953 to now. They went nuclear under GWB, in 2006, and Lil Kim is all Obama's fault? Using that thinking then Trump is responsible for all federal debt.

Doesn't much matter what either of us would do, neither of us have or ever will hold the power to issue orders to deal with lil Kim. What matters is what President Trump I going to do. Most likely beg China to do more for us.

Everyone says NK is the real danger. How true that is, I don't know. All we get to see is what they want us to see. Maybe we're sabotaging their missile launches?

One thing for sure. As inaccurate as they are, they would aim at Los Angeles and hit my little city 600 miles north.

Trump isn't going to sacrifice 10 million South Koreans in order to make Californians feel safe from a nuke. I know that doesn't satisfy your blood lust but that is how it works in the real world where the decider has to weigh all those issues. Easy for an arm chair chicken hawk with his @ss safe in his lazy boy to decide lobbing some missiles at NK is no big deal.

I would paint a big red circle around LA and tell him we can tolerate losing California. I can't see a down side to letting California be the landing zone for his missiles.

There are no good options and I don't have all the intel about his real capabilities or assessments as to what experts say is actually happening. I would need some more info before I decided what I would do.

It includes four main strategies -- not recognising North Korea as a nuclear state, imposing every possible sanction and pressure, not seeking a regime change and resolving the problem with dialogue in the end.
