That race ended a few hours ago after Gianforte body slammed a reporter.

I voted absentee about 10 days ago. Marked my ballot for Greg "the animal" Gianforte. I wouldn't vote for Quist for dog catcher. Didn't know Gianforte has it in him to throw down.
Remember Gianforte was the only Republican candidate to lose a state wide election last Nov. Trump carried the state by 20%, Zinke won by double digits. We got a Republican as head of the office of public instruction for the first time on two generations. Yet given the amount of buyers remorse generated by Trump we may end up with a lying guitar picker as our Representative.

Looking good for the republican, but the fact it's this close shows how much Trump's stock has dropped.
Now he and Trump can be a team, if Trump's big mouth won't take you down the poor man's Jessie Ventura will. just the image the GOP needs for the midterms, call them Master Blaster.

If he gets sentenced to 6 months in jail it really does not matter if he wins does it?

The fact that it was this close shows how much Trumps shows how much his stock dropped.
Tog that is democratic spin at best. Last fall Ginforte was the only state wide republican to lose. He improved his vote percentage in this election even though he participated in an unprofessional MMA demonstration on the eave of election day. The highly hipped Trump backlash is just more wishful thinking. This was a race democrats could have won, may be even should have won. If there is any hope of a democratic wave election in 2018 they need to start winning now. Winning Elections like Scott Brown did before the big Republican wave in 2010.

This is like the third or fourth special election where the Republicans won, and liberals keep repeating, over and over "the republicans are in big trouble, because it was sooooooooo close, so very very close, extremely close. Did I mention how close it was ?
