After a shooter in Alexandria left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise in critical condition and wounded four other people, a longtime New Jersey Democratic political strategist responded by introducing the hashtags #HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.

?We are in a war with selfish, foolish & narcissistic rich people,? wrote James Devine on Twitter. ?Why is it a shock when things turn violent? #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.?

Devine has run for office, consulted for numerous New Jersey campaigns, and worked in the offices of state lawmakers. He?s also a blogger.

In an interview with MyCentralNewJersey.com, Devine said, ?If you want to invite a class war, then you have to expect people to fight back at some point.? The Democratic strategist also wrote on Facebook that he had ?little sympathy? for Scalise because of his lack of support for gun control.

Several New Jersey Democrats criticized Devine?s comments and said they did not endorse violence.

If someone associated with the GOP did this, the evil left would be screaming for his head on the chopping block, but with one of their own, dead silence is the response by the majority of Democrats.

FW finally has a valid point. Left wing liberal Democrats are anti gun and have very little experience using them. Case in point is the Congress baseball shooting.
The hateful liberal Democrat was armed with a rifle and only managed to wound 5 persons. Two cops armed with handguns manage to outshoot him and kill him.
Common sense would dictate that liberal Democrats should be careful of starting a civil war with conservatives who have the guns and know how to use them to good effect.
Also I doubt FW has any trophy game animals mounted in his home.

Crazy is crazy. Anyone who would politicize the actions of a person who violently snapped for political gain is disgusting at best? What is your point RELH that a conservative would have been more effective in racking up fatalities on a score board?

You are now trivializing the actual event to promote one ideology over the other without any reflection of the victims involved. All the while your original post heading focuses on criticizing somebody for this exact same thing.

As for my mounts, I'd be willing to share pics with anyone I respected on this forum.
