GOP Primary Mulligan

LAST EDITED ON Jul-11-17 AT 07:34PM (MST)[p]So..we have seen what the first 7 months of the Trump train wreck has brought upon the country. If there was a do-over only among Republicans who would you like to have seen in as the winning candidate in office.

I would like to have seen Kasich, he's pragmatic, a true conservative, a 2-term well like Governor, a 9-time congressional rep. that served 18 years on the House Armed Services Committee and was a member of the 106th congress which delivered a surplus budget.

I believe Kasich could be the key to healing a very strongly divided nation, could be effective in reaching across the aisle and move the country/congress forward.

I agree, Kasich should have been the nominee. hell he might have even been able to be reelected. score a bonus.

The problem with Kasich is he wasn't dumb enough, hateful enough or racist enough for the republicans of today. mullet voters wanted a Trump and they got one , proof you can't ever be too rich to be white trash.

If Kasich had been the GOP candidate, I would have voted for him as he was a few steps above Jeb Bush and John McCain.

The problem is we did not get him and got instead a business man who does have a strong ego, and makes no bones about it, and said the things that the majority of the voters wanted to hear over the other candidates even Kasich.

The other option given us by the Democrats was a lying outright crook who could be bought by the highest bidder and that was proven when she was Sec. of State. The other leading Democrat was a outright socialist who now is proving to be a person that does not even live by his own socialist standards, but wanted to require us to do so until we figured out that working was not that great of an ideal.

When you look close at those three candidates, Trump is by far the better candidate with a chance of getting this country back on the right track so that a working man or woman can hope to achieve the American Dream.

Now you tell me which political party did the most to screw over the voters and was the most crooked liars.

Yeah, comrade Trump has really taken us on the right path. you can't say that without laughing can you? that's funny.

Jeb and McCain are twice the man and Trump will ever be. Trump said he didn't like McCain because he was captured, I don't like Trump because he's a lying dumb POS. that seems to be a growing assessment of this clown.

You nominated this retard and you own him. if you say you don't wish you could do it over again and pick someone else you're either a moron or a liar.

Trump is the only one who could beat Hillary, period. I regret Trump but do not regret beating Hillary.

I guess it's good to shake the system to its core once in awhile. Maybe both parties will get off their high horse and pay attention to the middle class going forward.

There is nothing Trump can do that can't be undone, provided our monetary system doesn't collapse.

Ocho, this a serious question. What do you think the Russians did exactly? I agree the topic has consumed the country. But what is it exactly you think Trump and Russia did to change our nations path?

I question how much if anything Trump did personally, but it's obvious his slackjaws were at it.

If Russia changed the election , which let's face it Trump lost the popular vote so nobody can say it wasn't close, then our path has been forever changed. we won't know how much until Trump is gone and we fix the mess. you may ask what mess ? it's a work in progress starting will out freefall from the world stage . if his agenda were to progress , which I doubt , a majority of americans would find most of it a down hill path. he is 6 months into a 4 year term, don't assume the worst is behind us.

Now a question for you, if Hillary had the same thing going, obvious Russian collusion by her regime, obvious obstruction of justice , bald face lies to cover it up , would you be willing to let it go ? pass it off as no big deal and move along?

We were all forced to "let go" Of all of those things you mentioned against HRC. That is a different topic.

You still did not answer my question. What exactly do you think the Russians did? Or in other words, define collusion as it relates to this issue.

What, in your opinion, did they do? Hack voting machines, brainwash voters, shoot them with BB gun, what??

LAST EDITED ON Jul-12-17 AT 12:46PM (MST)[p]The Russians implemented a multi-pronged attack. Somethings were direct like hacking into the DNC which occurred twice by 2 Russian intelligence agencies the GRU and the FSB. Another direct attack occurred to software companies that are utilized in voting systems like VR Systems.

In both cases entry was made via a common technique known as "spear-fishing" where a person(s) are tricked into a baited e-mail which leads them to give out their log-in information. Once that login information is obtained, it leads to further spear-fishing to voter registration boards.

VR Systems is more on the side of voter registration which is why in certain places if you remember lines were long with waiting time up to 4 hours. Voters arrived at precincts only to discover they were no longer registered or that their address had been changed placing them at the wrong polling location.

While there have been assurances that the vote tallying machines were not compromised simply changing the registration information could have prevented large numbers of voters to vote, thus altering the election.

The machines themselves are easily cracked with antiquated technology lacking even the basic of security measures.

Some voting systems are built around paper ballots, others utilize optical scanners both of which have accounting countermeasures for auditing. Older electronic voting machines are absent of such countermeasures with no possible way to audit the vote counts for accuracy. Such was the case in the swing states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

One problem investigator have is actually performing any investigations due to the fact that software/hardware companies will not allow investigation claiming Company Confidentiality. If it became public that their equipment or the software behind it was faulty they could potentially lose millions in contracts.

Add to this the large amount of anti-candidate websites and Facebook accounts dispensing fake news stories to sway voters and flood the net. In many cases FB identities were stolen using "copy and paste" posts which one should always avoid, it is like opening the door for a burglar to steal your online identity. This covers the bad actors leaving them anonymous while giving access to friends and family members.

This is also why the server that was located in Trump Tower is of great importance. Was was it pinging back and forth between Spectrum Health and Alfa Bank? It is alleged that stolen voter data rolls were being updated between Spectrum Health and Alfa Bank (Alfa Bank front for Russian GRU) to gain further information such as current addresses, social security numbers, and email addresses.

I could probably write 10,000 words on the subject but for the sake of brevity I will leave it at this.

Who asked you? I was asking cocopuff....

Sit back and look at your sources for a minute. Do you honestly believe any of that?

Best post I have seen down here in a while.

The russians provided emails Trump LOVED and admitted he loved repeatedly. we now know for sure this regime would do anything for this information and they used it to full advantage.

Are you saying this couldn't have influenced the election in any way? that would be saying if Hillary had won it wouldn't have changed the path we're on. I think we both know it most certainly did, and that's how the Russians made a difference.

Even if Trump can sacrifice he retard kid and son in law to avoid impeachment his presidency is stuck in low gear and losing speed. a president cannot be this unpopular and command control of congress , even if they're almost as deplorable as he is.

"Too bad you can't edit a title..."

FYI, you can...anywhere down in the body of the thread when you reply. See above.

Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio.

I wasnt saying anything. I was trying to understand your position. You see some people do actually listen to understand not just to respond.

Your answer makes absolutely no sense though. They provided emails that made americans switch from voting democrat to voting republican? That is ridiculous, just like 99% of the crap you say.
