Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on Tuesday criticized President Trump's public attacks on Attorney General?Jeff Sessions, calling them "beneath the office" not only of the president but of any elected official.

"Mr. President, maybe just try a meeting? This is beneath the office - of any held office - from city councilman to POTUS," Kinzinger tweeted.

Trump earlier Tuesday tweeted an attack on Sessions for not investigating former Secretary of State?Hillary Clinton, his Democratic opponent in the 2016 race.

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!" Trump tweeted.

Trump also called for Sessions to investigate Clinton in another tweet Monday. And he attacked Sessions last week for recusing himself from the Justice Department's investigation into Russian meddling in the presidential election, saying he never would have appointed Sessions if he'd known he would recuse himself.

Trump is reportedly considering replacing Sessions with Sen.?Ted Cruz?(R-Texas) or former New York City Mayor Rudy Guiliani (R), but both have denied that they are being considered for the job.

Trump's a loose cannon. He had all kinds of praise for Sessions when he hired him. Some things should be dealt with in house.

The Dems hate Sessions, but if he gets fired they'll say they love him like a brother (Comey)

On the other hand if Trump had a private meeting with Sessions, the next day headlines would read "Unnamed Sources say Trump met with Sessions to Cover up Russian Ties"

Trump has a private meeting with Sessions every day.

I just dont get why he cant handle this sh!t behind closed doors. It makes a mockery of being a boss, let alone president. If you're gonna fire Sessions do it. But dont tweet about it.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-26-17 AT 01:46PM (MST)[p]We are watching Trumpian politics unfold before are very eyes. In the beginning of the campaign Sessions wanted nothing to do with Trump. Trump lacked any heavy weight endorsements, but as the campaign went on his polling numbers started to improve.

Sessions saw this and decided to jump on board becoming Trump's first heavy weight endorsement. Sessions is a seasoned political pro and knew he could strike a quid pro quo for the powerful AG position should Trump win.

Sessions offered his resignation when it became quite clear he was dirty with Russia, but Trump refused believing he could circumvent the investigation.

Trump wants Mueller and Rosenstein gone, but the key player is Sessions. Trump leaked Sessions meeting with Kislyak in order to put pressure on him to resign. After all it will only be worse for him if he fires Sessions. Session now realizes his job is completely protected, if he is fired it will only bolster allegations of Obstruction. Hence the Dems want him to stay because they clearly see what is going on and it keeps Rosenstein in power to oversee Mueller.

Now that the vote for Russian Sanctions appears that it will pass and be Veto-proof it spells the end for Trump. Putin has some $200 Billion invested in the west and he can't touch that money until sanctions are lifted.

As the time nears and now that Trump's financials are being investigated, Trump is desperate. So expect more white gas on the fire when it comes to Sessions. Without a Sessions resignation Trump is caught between Obstruction by terminating Sessions or Resignation as the investigation comes to a conclusion, either way he will be out.

Trump's only hope is buying time by forcing Sessions out under a resignation and having his replacement fire Rosenstein and Mueller to place distance away from Obstruction.

The Sanctions bill has also uncovered a disturbing pattern on behalf of McCarthy and Ryan. Why are they stalling for time? Ryan is already under alleged investigation for taking laundered Russian money and injecting it into the RNC. This would explain why Ryan first stalled the Sanctions bill, then added language again stalling the bill knowing if he could buy enough time it would have to wait until after the recess for Senate approval.

Corker is now having to address the added language thus stalling a vote further. Why would they want to buy so much time and what is the importance of the recess? Well, if you are Trump and you are looking to fire Sessions to put your guy in as AG you can bypass confirmation if the Congress is in recess.

So this process with Ryan's assistance has all been very carefully planned in hopes of keeping their boss Vladimir happy. In any case all of these actions have been scripted and telegraphed, all favor Russian interests, and all point to some key players who are acting in Putin's behalf.

Not that it matters, once the Russian Sanction bill passes the Senate Putin has no need for Trump and will expose him as payback for failing to do Putin's bidding.

I hope you have your tinfoil hat on to protect you from those black helicopters that you are worried about.

Trump reports to the people who put him in office. Twitter, or Trump rallies. Most politicians forget who elected them and fall into the swamp. Not Trump.
