Harvey Relief and Debt Ceiling

Now that the Hurricane Harvey relief bill has passed the House, I am sure there is no pork in that bill, it heads to the Senate. Ole Mitch has a plan to tie the Debt Ceiling increase to the Harvey bill which would make the vote against the Debt Ceiling increase also a vote against Hurricane relief. Wonder how Ted Cruz will vote now?

Also it gives the Democrats a pretty big lever to apply pressure by agreeing to pass the bill to provide relief but only extending the debt ceiling for three months. That will be fun to watch as well.

That would also mean the Conservatives in the House would have to vote again on the Harvey/Debt ceiling bill that comes out of the Senate.

Then for more fun the same Conservatives will have to take it up again in three months. That is going to give them some late night headaches of having to pass that again.

Now Irma is headed into Puerto Rico and Florida and we will get another multiple Billion bill for that.

What will Trump actually get done in his first year? One supreme court nominee and 200% turn over in his administration. General Kelly and Rex Tillerson both have said they are growing weary of trying to work for the Human tanning bed. For a Marine to say he has never been spoken to the way Trump spoke to him is a shocking admission that the talking Yam is a very poor manager and worse human being.

Do you think Trump cut back on your Israel funding? remember they make up the lions share of foreign welfare. why not cut them off and use some of that for the texicans?

Be specific on what your delusions are telling you.

Of course you have no problem spending money now and it is because the Human tanning bed decided in order to get elected he would put an R after his name and fool the delusional class and the slow witted into believing that he wasn't an upper west side of Manhattan liberal. Since there is an R after his name, conservatives, especially the fake variety like most here are, have no cares about spending money. The slow witted, that the talking Yam counts on, buy it hook, line and sinker.

Debt is great when you have a Republican controlled White House and Congress.

Why don't you advocate cutting the $7.8 Billion out of some program that is currently being funded? How about Medicare or Social Security or the Pentagon or other programs that are bloated? You don't because you are a phony, like Cruz is.

Sitting here laughing at us all. We argue about Trump and congress, the debt ceiling, DACA and everything else. Trump has fooled us all including you lefties. McCain took the bullet on healthcare to provide cover for his lover Lindsey and the rest. They were never going to give Trump a win. You watch, he will go to the democrats and republicans both and walk all over the libs and conservatives to make his deals. He is not your typical political animal and he could care less about polls and re-election. Lots more surprises in store for us all and we may all wish he was gone soon. I think Washington is just starting to realize they are toothless dogs in this fight.

And Trump is clueless. if he does something clever it's either by accident or he was told to do it.

I am perfectly happy. One and maybe two SC justices, stir up the pot in DC. Get rid of five or six republican senators like Jeff Flake. He was elected to blow the place up and so far he is doing that.

I see, so now that we have Republicans in charge spending is just fine? What about your grand children, why aren't you outraged that the party that claims fiscal discipline as one of the major themes is not going to take away the punch bowl? If they spend like liberals, of what use are they?
