Well..it only took you 8 months Bess, welcome to Here. Now you know why some of us laughed when you said the Trump was going to be different.

Our strategy in N. Korea is pretty simple and plenty dangerous because there will never be a conventional war when it comes to the N. Korean theater. No tanks, no troops, no bombers, and outside of the DMZ border probably no bullets.

N. Korea is a Nuclear Only War.

China and Russia are well aware of this so they have been feeding their lap dog N. Korea with money and a military for the last 65 years. Lil Kim is more ambitious than his predecessors and now the lap dog just may turn around and bite it's owners.

Executing Kim will not change anything it just means a new guy is in his place. It will not deter N. Korea or their nuclear program. It would also martyr Dear Leader and trigger a counter strike.

We have 2 nuke carrying subs in the theater with a total of 48 Trident II Missiles each carry 8-12 merv thermonuclear warheads.

One way or another a chit load of people are going to die before we can get the nod from China and Russia to launch but not invade and they will stand down.

There is one other possibility but I don't think it will happen. The unexpected, China decides to launch on Kim rather than have the U.S. do it. It actually solves many problems for China except for the fact they are going to have kill millions of people, deal with a massive refugee crisis, radiation, and reconstruction.

Trump can thump his chest all he wants, send 1,000 ships, fill the skies with B-1 Bombers it means nothing. When the time comes it will come with the push of buttons.
