One last Chance at Repeal

Hard to imagine they'd avoid political suicide to the last minute and then pull the trigger. but they're screwed either way so who knows.

The CBO has been asked for a report and it's expected this is the worst plan yet. I'd say they wouldn't vote before the report but they have in the past so even that logic is off the table. but is it a vote or a show when they know it wouldn't pass ?


The best thing that could happen for the dems is this passing. wouldn't it be a gas if a dem or two not running for reelection took a bullet for the team and voted to pass this putting it over the top . the republicans would chit kittens. the dog who caught the car.

Our Governor is supporting this one so McCain will vote for it. That and it is sponsored by his gay lover Lindsay. I bet this one will pass as it gets rid of the mandates and fines which are hurting a lot of people.

Although on some levels the ACA has good intentions, the real goal was to create chaos to the point single payer would be the only option left. IMO. The only question is who will say it?

A group of 17 Senators led by Bernie Sanders (I-VT) introduced a bill calling for "Medicare for All" this week, a position supported by over 50 percent of Americans, according to an Economist/YouGuv poll from this year. With the Trump Administration and the Republicans in Congress opposed, it's unlikely to advance, but top officials have nonetheless come out firmly against the idea.

That's despite the fact that increased government involvement in health care around the world has actually been shown to both improve outcomes and bring down costs.

At her briefing on Wednesday, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "I can't think of anything worse than having government more involved in your healthcare."


And on Thursday, President Trump called the idea of single-payer health care "a curse on the U.S. and its people" and pledged to veto any version of the bill that reached his desk.
 
New and improved liar Trump says it would be a disaster. he praised it a year ago. want video? so which Trump are we talking about.


So nobody likes the term single payer? how about socialized medicine FOR ALL then?

Down in flames again. I wonder if Ole Mitch will schedule another vote to be embarrassed on the floor once again or if he will withdraw and just watch the Obamacare Repeal and Replace to be added to the other campaign promises that Republicans won't keep.

I wrote McCain and told him his balls were in Cindy and Meghan's purses. Our democrat congresswoman said there is some tax that needs to get repealed by congress. It will add $4000 to ACA costs per person? Never heard of that have you Nemont?
 
Can you post a copy of that letter? That seems like such a great intro for credibility when the conversation starts with the referencing of dis-limbered pieces of the recepient's genitalia.

Did you have your hearing aid turned up when the Congresswoman was talking or were you reading her lips and just inferring what she said? Care to explain how this ACA Tax would increase cost by $4,000 on a per person basis?

This should be fun. Would you like to wager on how wrong you are and let me win my $100 back from you?

I will even give you a Primer on what is being worked on for repeal from the ACA that would affect taxes. 1. the Tax is named after a type of luxury automobile. 2. If you oppose it that means you agree with the Unions, Insurance Companies, Democrats, moderate Republicans and Bernie Sanders that it should go.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I was listening to her on local talk radio and that is what she said. Liberals are usually lying so maybe she just made it up. Is it the Cadillac plan that they would eliminate that is the big hit? he seemed highly motivated to work out a deal whatever it was.
 
What is Obamacare? Trump promised a new and better plan and failed miserably. whatever this Obamacare you speak of was is no longer, it's now Trumpcare. he owns it.


It's kind of sad really I hoped it would pass. there the GOP is drowning , this was a chance to put a hose in the their mouth .
