According to the report I saw, they tapped him twice. First time the tap was dropped in 2016 which means they did not get anything to show criminal violations.
Then a second tap was requested later that year or early 2017. The Obama administration was one dirty deceitful bunch of politicians. Probably as close to getting a dictatorship as this country ever experienced.

There is still the same amount of proof that Trump "wires were Tapped" today as when Trump tweeted, zero. Also if a FISA judge signed off on it, that means there was a compelling reason presented to the Judge and that National Security or National Interests were at stake.
The FISA or FISC is non political and is not subject to any President ordering them to do anything.

Name one government that if it suspected one of its citizens of conducting illegal deals with foreign agents that would not surveil/wiretap them? Isn't that what the FBI is supposed to do?
