Russian collusion turning on Democrats.

Here is a article from the Washington Post that indicates the Russian collusion investigation is turning on the Democrats and may bite them very hard in the A$$.

With all the noise coming from the president last week (and the week before that, and so far this week?), a bit of good news for this embattled White House may be emerging. And if the American body politic doesn't experience a complete meltdown this week, perhaps others will notice.

The good news is that after having tried everything else, the Trump team now appears to be cooperating in a normal way with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III?s investigation. According to a recent New York Times report, ?The president's legal team is working swiftly to respond to requests from Mr. Mueller for emails, documents and memos, and will make White House officials available for interviews.? It's about time. After months of leaks, innuendo, willful ignorance and wild speculation, nothing has pointed to anything approaching substantive collusion with Russia on the part of the president or the Trump campaign. But the investigation is ongoing, and the White House has decided to stop acting as though it is guilty ? or at least hiding something ? and begin acting as if it is innocent. Imagine.

Mueller is an honest man. He is professional, competent and the furthest thing from a partisan Democrat. He has no stake in making false claims. And for months, I have said so.

Since the investigation began, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn and others have tacitly admitted to Foreign Agents Registration Act violations, answered questions about this or that meeting or been subject to aggressive moves by Mueller?s investigative team looking into the financial dealings of some of President Trump?s associates. And yet, nothing has confirmed ? or even suggested ? nefarious collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. These collateral reports are all sideshows used by the media to create the impression that something significant could still arise connecting the Trump campaign to Russia. But they are just a lot of fog.

Anyway, with multiple investigations underway, a packed legislative calendar ahead and all other options exhausted, it appears that White House lawyer Ty Cobb, John Kelly and others may have finally gotten the White House to do the right thing.

But in Washington, being innocent is only an advantage ? it is not determinative. Democrats in Congress and liberals everywhere will refuse to accept Mueller?s inevitable finding of no collusion. And even as the collusion story fades, the mainstream media?s latest fixation is that, somehow, Russian manipulation of social media ads during the 2016 campaign was significant. But if the media really thinks this issue is a big deal, it should be asking where the Obama administration was when all this egregious hijacking of American democracy took place. Will anyone suggest that the Obama administration was to blame and that the former president's incompetence led to this problem, or will they somehow make the story about Trump?

I can think of 4 people who are gonna eat crow on this one. Love it.

"We don't have a gun problem we have prescription drug problem."

It seems some members of the Democrat party is beginning to feel some heat on their backside due to their under the table cover ups during the past 8 years.

A top Senate Republican is calling for the Justice Department to lift an apparent ?gag order? on an FBI informant who reportedly helped the U.S. uncover a corruption and bribery scheme by Russian nuclear officials but allegedly was ?threatened? by the Obama administration to stay quiet.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is focusing on the informant amid scrutiny of the 2010 approval of a controversial uranium deal with a Russian company. He?s raising questions about potential ?conflicts of interest? for Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration, and especially wants to know whether the committee that approved the deal was aware of the FBI probe involving a subsidiary of the same Russian firm.

On Thursday, President Trump called the issue ?your real Russia story? and said ?it's a disgrace? that the ?fake news won't cover? it.

The deal in question, which was previously reported, involved the 2010 approval of a partial sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to Russia?s Rosatom nuclear company. The U.S. was involved because the sale gave the Russians control of part of the uranium supply in the U.S.

FTW you are so left leaning, that you can not see what is in front of your eyes. This Russian thing with Trump is falling apart, but it is gaining headway with democrats being in direct collusion with Putin.
It seems your hero, Obama was involved in the coverup, or was so damn stupid and allowed it to go down. Just another scandal involving your hero and his administration.

Facts? It's an Op-ed void of facts, please show me a single fact from the article other than the author's name which RELH did not include.

DW it looks like FTW is too stupid to know how to get on Google and research the subject from many sources, outside of his ultra liberal news sites that will not inform the general public.
I will now wait for FTW to come back and label it a fake conspiracy by Trump and conservative Republicans.

Here is an article on the collusion from Newsweek magazine, not considered a right wing news agency. The worse part of the scandal is that FBI agents Mueller and Rosenstein should have been aware of this investigation in 2009 and now they are the ones investigating Trump on his so called Russian collusion.
Mueller has some explanations to do about him passing or not passing this information on to Obama or Eric Holder prior to them signing off on the sale of uranium to a Russian government controlled business.

If Mueller passed on the information to Obama and his Attorney General, they are involved in the conspiracy. If Mueller failed to pass this information on to his Attorney General or Obama, his incompetence is huge and should not be involved in any investigation involving any collusion with the Russians.

In New Obama and Clinton Russia Probe, Republican Senators Demand Chat With FBI Informant

By Jessica Kwong On 10/19/17 at 1:56 PM

Senate Republicans are stepping up their probe into a Russian bribery scheme that the FBI had evidence of before the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton approved a uranium deal that greatly expanded Vladimir Putin?s footprint in the U.S.?s nuclear industry.

The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday night requested permission to interview an undercover informant who helped FBI agents compile evidence of Russia racketeering before the 2010 deal approved by President Barack Obama?s Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), which included then-Secretary of State Clinton.

Department of Justice officials threatened the informant in a lawsuit litigated during November?s presidential election when he attempted to disclose some of the findings, forcing him to step back from taking legal action, his lawyer Victoria Toensing told The Hill. The informant, whose identity has not been made public, could not disclose information he gathered over a nearly five-year period because he signed a nondisclosure agreement with the FBI, according to Toensing.

During his service, the informant collected financial records, made secret recordings and intercepted emails dating back to 2009 that showed that Moscow was involved in bribery and kickbacks with an American uranium trucking company. The CFIUS unanimously agreed to a partial sale of the Canadian mining company Uranium One to Rosatom, a major Russian nuclear company, effectively handing Moscow control of 20 percent of the U.S.?s uranium supply.

Though FBI officials held evidence on the investigation in 2009 and 2010, the Department of Justice waited until 2014 to bring forth charges. In his letter Wednesday night to Toensing, Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley expressed concern that the Obama administration agreed to the deal while the FBI had evidence of Russian collusion and corruption, and questioned whether that posed a national security threat.

"It appears that your client possesses unique information about the Uranium One/Rosatom transaction and how the Justice Department handled the criminal investigation into the Russian criminal conspiracy," Grassley stated in the letter obtained by The Hill. "Such information is critical to the Committee?s oversight of the Justice Department."

Last week, the Senate committee sent letters to 10 federal agencies involved in the Uranium One deal, requesting information.

In a letter to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security last week, Grassley wrote he was not convinced of assurances the Obama administration gave in 2015 that no evidence existed suggesting they should block the Uranium One deal.

Like the Obama administration, Clinton has denied knowledge of Russian bribery before the deal.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-22-17 AT 07:50PM (MST)[p]Sorry Dude, but Mueller's creditability just went out the window with this one. If I remember right Mueller was the F.B.I. director when the above investigation was going on. In other words he HAD TO KNOW ABOUT WHAT THE FBI INFORMANT HAD UNCOVERED. Now the big question is did he tell Attorney General Eric Holder so that it could be passed on to Obama and stop the sale of Uranium.
It would have been unthinkable for him to fail to pass that information on. You know what, I am very sure that Eric Holder, Obama and Hillary Clinton will all say that information was not passed on to them by Mueller, even if Mueller did pass it on, they will make him the fall guy. Mueller is screwed and tattooed by his fellow Democrats.
In fact I think that Obama and Hillary have already said they were not aware of that information when they signed off on the sale. Now do you believe that Eric Holder will admit he was told and end up holding the bag of crap?

RELH
I just checked. Mueller was the FBI director during the entire time that investigation was going on. Comey took over from Mueller in 2013. I thought Mueller was a Democrat, I am wrong, he is a Republican. Holder, Obama, and Hillary will screw over him in a New York minute and leave him looking like a incompetent fool that failed to notify them of the investigation findings.
If Obama and team does that to Mueller, that will give Trump the ammo he needs to get rid of Mueller and his Democrat leaning investigators as being not trustworthy and incompetent.

I like to see you dream like this, it's so fun to watch them be crushed.

Your comrades are in trouble, Trump too? maybe. we shall see. stick to your bingo games this is kicking your azz.

Classic RELH, contradicting the very link he posts about.

"Mueller is an honest man. He is professional, competent and the furthest thing from a partisan Democrat. He has no stake in making false claims. And for months, I have said so."

Sorry FTW, this new information that has been held from the public by the Obama administration puts Mueller in a new light that may not be forgiving to him.
If he was a straight honest man, you can bet he did pass that information on to Eric Holder and Holder should have passed it on to the President and the committee that voted on it. So far it appears that Obama and Hillary both are saying they knew nothing about the investigation and it's findings. Now are you na?ve enough that Eric Holder will admit that Mueller told him and the $hit rolling downhill stops at his shoulders. Yeal! you probably are na?ve enough to believe that Holder will be a stand up guy.

That leaves the $hit on Mueller's shoulder unless he was smart enough to hold on to memo copies or emails to show he did pass the infro on.

RELH

Did that even take you 1 day? You post a highly partisan Op-ed by Ed Rogers, and in that very Op-ed Rogers states,

"Mueller is an honest man. He is professional, competent and the furthest thing from a partisan Democrat. He has no stake in making false claims. And for months, I have said so."

So which is it RELH? Is Rogers' assessment of Mueller correct?

His so called "assessment" appears to based on "personal opinion". I will like to wait and see what facts may come out to pass final judgment on Mueller and his performance as FBI Director.

If he is a honest straight shooter, I hope that Holder, Clinton and possibly Obama will not be able to smear his reputation trying to protect their own A$$. If he did pass on that very important information, I hope he did it in the form of a memo or email and retained copies to protect himself. If he did not, he is screwed as sure as I set here, Holder will lie and so will Hillary and Obama.

If he passed it on to Holder, who finally made the decision to not inform Congress as they are saying they never knew about the infro and the informant. Somebody $hit canned the investigation report as it seems to just disappear until 2014 when they low keyed the trial of one suspect and convicted him. That should tell you that the information supplied by the informant was good enough for a criminal trial conviction.

Who cares? your lips still locked to their azz ? I don't give a FF if they all jump off a bridge.

Now that we have the diversion out of the way. what about the comrades who are in the whitehouse TODAY ? can we talk about them ?

yes we can, so far it appears they are not as shady and crooked as are a bunch of lying Democrats. As for you not caring, you do not have to tell us that as we already know that. The only you care about is your own worthless A$$. Now sleep off your drunken stupor and quit making a A$$ of yourself.
