Well looks like the Trump is pulling out the rug from under the Insurance companies ,they wont be getting any subsidies, I wonder how many billions they got from Obama ? it was hidden just like the NFL getting free #####.

264,

Are you certain you have even a small clue regarding this issue or are you counting on Trump to tell you what to think. I bet you don't even know what he actually ended or how it works, but try to explain it to me because like most things on health insurance, Trump and his merry band of queerleaders are clueles.

Nemont are you drunk while typing the above post. A 8th. grade English teacher would have given you a D- or F for sentence structure and misspelling words on that paragraph. I normally do not knock anyone on their writing. I am not perfect either. That is far below your normal mistakes and makes me think you might be like Dude and enjoying the sauce too much. LAST EDITED ON Oct-19-17 AT 07:38AM (MST)[p]Didn't proof read but having to deal with the idiots on here would make anyone reach for a bottle.

Now can any of you Trumpettes explain what Trump's EO actually did or are you more worried about my sobriety? I am willing to bet there isn't a single one of you who understands what it is or how it impacts anyone.

Anyone want to try or do you have to wait to be told what to think?

Have another swig and take knee.

I think he ended the subsidies to insurance companies which will end the subsidies for people with up to 4 times the poverty level. It was already deemed illegal by the courts so might as well end it and force congress to address the issue.

looks like an end to the sanctuary cities, all these Governers and liberals will be be leaving office with fat pensions and leaving us with a cluster F#CK !

LAST EDITED ON Oct-19-17 AT 09:12AM (MST)[p]So are you now saying Trump should spend the $9 Billion on the "bailout"? Even the talking Yam doesn't know what he is going to do.

Trump just tweeted he won't support the deal.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...nates-bipartisan-obamacare-deal-idUSKBN1CN18Z

Also Ryan isn't sure he will bring to the floor in the House to avoid another fight inside the party.

Can you explain what exactly the EO ended and how it impacts the market?

So far nobody seems capable of understanding how it actually works yet all claim to be genius level healthcare experts.

We are not suppose to know, just suppose to work and pay taxes to support the scam, I know one thing it's not working and will implode.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-19-17 AT 09:47AM (MST)[p]you got google.

Be specific on how that EO "frees" millions.

Also why is the IRS still enforcing the mandate?

Why did the Trump's HHS acting Sec. just order CMS to allow insurers to file for rate increases in light of the Trump's EO? What happens to the tax credits when rates rise in the exchanges?

http://helenair.com/news/politics/s...cle_a1e8e2d5-af34-5642-95bd-a220b7aa2d98.html

Montana is just one example across the nation of the stupidity and hollowness of what Trump claims his actions do. Yet the Trumpteers cheer like they just won a major victory. All this EO did was allow Insurance companies to raise rates to offset the federal CSR payments which in turn increase the dollar amount of tax credit that people can get from the system. Because the tax credit is based on what the rates of the 2nd cheapest silver plan in the market place. When the rate for that plan is allowed to increase 20% the tax credits increase 20%. Trump EO can't change, impact or reverse that fact.

It will actually cost more than $9 billion because the increased tax credit goes to all eligible in the market place making between 138% and 400% of the FPL in medicaid expansion states and 100% and 400% in none medicaid expansion states, rather than be limited to helping just those making 250% and below. Not that anyone on here actually cares about what it costs or how it works but it is hilarious to see how stupid people really are and ill informed the Trump contingent is on facts. Stoney has some great company here.

DW,

Do this, on every thread where I become to dyck, look at whom makes the first dyck move on with their posts. What happens is a punk @ss chickenhawk starts and when I respond in kind then I am the dyck, right?

The little chickenhawk is clueless on health insurance and I guarantee I know more about the subject than he does every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Yet I am the dyck?

Whatever, you girls hash it out. The facts are that what is being claimed is just like everything else that comes from the White House, untruthful and doesn't do anything as claimed.

The Party is over and you knew it on November 8th 2016.

Nemont- do you ever go back and read your posts? You are rude and condescending to everyone. Must have some serious anger issues to treat people like that. So you know about insurance. Not everyone is an insurance peddler and you might be able to teach all of us something about your industry if you would quit calling people drunks and pedophiles. You ain't quite right son.

Glen

Show me a single person on here that wants to learn the facts of how the system actually works. There are none because they don't care about facts for the most part. The healthcare system and the delivery of healthcare seems far to complex for most on here so they revert to what they have been told not what is real.

I don't call people drunks or pedophiles, that is the schitck other use for guys like 440 or myself.

I am not an angry person at all. I am only rude and condescending when the threads goes that way go look. Go look.

okay, why the f#ck are you so upset ? I'm sure you will get enough to finish the man cave.

Why do you think I am upset about anything?

The man cave is nearing completion. When I left for work the crew was there finishing up the boiler installation for the radiant floors.

Got to get some painting done inside and then have the electrician finish up the lights. Still trying to figure out if I am going to do a loft or not. I am leaning toward that.

Here are some facts.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/17/biggest-losers-in-obamacare-subsidy-cuts-commentary.html

quote:

I don't see any evidence that Trump understands who he is hurting. Particularly when he argues he's just ending an "insurance company bailout."

He isn't hurting the low-income people?by law they will get the CSRs while the additional premium cost that occurs when he fails to pay the insurers for them just gets picked up by Obamacare's premium subsidy system that caps people's out of pocket maximum premium.

He isn't even hurting the insurance companies in the long-run by sticking them with this now unfunded mandate. Yes, they will take a big hit because they aren't getting their CSR payments in October, November, and December to cover a benefit they are mandated to provide. But almost all of them can afford to bridge themselves into 2018 where they'll ultimately raise the rates to cover the cost of providing the CSRs.

He's really only hurting the middle class stuck in Obamacare, many of whom came to his campaign rallies complaining of the extraordinarily high cost of their individual health insurance and wanting Trump to do something about it.

I believe I asked you to post the EO you were referring to. I think you have some expertise in the industry few of us have. I think there are things you know that we could learn from, but sometimes your attitude prevents you from teaching us anything. I doubt I'm alone in thinking this. Ignore the pricks and pass on what you know. Don't respond to those that bring the negativity. Still unpacking my gear, haven't had time to read all the responses. Enlighten those of us wanting a better grasp on the mess that's been created and give us your opinion on the solution. This is a microcosm of what's wrong with our government, and the divisiveness that exist today. When you go right to it's all Trump's fault it's difficult to read beyond that.

Edit: we posted at the same time but do you see your first sentence in your last response?

#livelikezac

Ne-that is about how I understood the move by Trump. I still think if the EO from Obama was deemed illegal by the courts that it needed to be overturned. Congress has a real aversion to doing anything that will put their name on any change so maybe we can force them to do something or vote them out. I still believe that we need a catastrophic option, get rid of the mandate and force people to pay as they go for anything that is minor medical. Thanks for the clarity.

Whether the CSR payments were illegal or not was actually under appeal and awaiting a ruling.

Ending the CSR's does zero to hurt the insurance companies when CMS turns around and let's them re-rate their plans 2 weeks prior to open enrollment based on the loss of the CSR payments.

If ending them actually saved any money would be one thing but given that the tax credits also rise with rates and the credits are spread across everybody eligible it is certain Uncle Sam will pay more not less. The difference is that the payments will be in for form of refundable tax credits instead of CSR payments.

It pumps to the outside through that clear tube. On the wall they put a heated tube that looks sort of like a Pitot tube from an airplane so it won't freeze up in is -20 degrees.

Working on what to do with the idea of a loft. Still got figure out dimensions and the height because of the elevation of the back door.

It is always something.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-20-17 AT 01:32PM (MST)[p]Chickenhawk,

You are not and never will ever be in the top 1% of the best people this nation has so if you think you have any sway over my day in any just remember every time you pass a mirror, that guy looking back will never be a 1%er.

I will leave you with the words of General Kelly,

Quote:

"Who are these young men and women? They are the best 1 percent this country produces. Most of you, as Americans, don't know them. Many of you don't know anyone who knows any one of them. But they are the very best this country produces, and they volunteer to protect our country when there's nothing in our country anymore that seems to suggest that selfless service to the nation is not only appropriate, but required. But that's all right."

So I will end discussing anything with you and will just reflect on my time in the service and in Iraq. You can reflect on what ever it is you 99%ers do.

Have a great season, looks like you got an elk, good on ya.

Nemont

Your probably right that I won't be in the military I'm almost 30 I don't think they are really looking for my age group. Unless there was a huge war and a draft came about then maybe I will be. Thank you for your service. But I look in the mirror everyday when I wake up and piss excellence.
