DW,
Obama F#cked up Bergdahl's coming home. Bergdahl is a cull who probably would have been executed on the battlefield in another era. That he says he was treated better by the Taliban is a total and complete sell out to this country
However, Stop and think about what you are saying about military discipline and unit cohesion and dynamics. Do you really want a 19 year old infantryman to be deciding what is justice and what isn't for a squad member? The chain of command is there for a reason, the UCMJ exists for a reason.
As for the wounded and killed in the search for Bergdahl, there is nothing you can say, it is tragic for all involved in this but there is more too it. The Army stakes its claim on doing what it takes to recover it's own, whether KIA, POW or Deserters. It is important to the moral of those serving to know that.
You are letting emotion overcome good order and discipline.
