Rubio, Lee and Corker?

So would Mike Lee really vote no on the compromise Tax Bill coming out of conference if it doesn't include more Child Tax Credit?

Right now Rubio said he is opposed and Corker didn't vote for it in the first go around and has said he is still a no. If they lose one more then it's a big nyet on tax reform.

My bet is that they will extend more Child Tax Credits to people who don't pay taxes now. Always interesting to hear how somebody who doesn't pay income taxes gets a $7,000 tax refund.

Too bad more Republicans won't show some intestinal fortitude and stand up to the a$$clowns. I find it hilarious they threw in the term "jobs act" in the title. At around 4% unemployment we don't need jobs we need higher wages. To think Corporations will pass on this savings to their employees in higher wages is ludicrous, it will go right to their shareholders.

It sounds good in theory but who really thinks trickle down economics really work? I don't. Bush tried it during the recession and what happened? The rich just kept the extra money, remember? Nobody is going to start a business without seeing some kind of return on their investment just because the Government gave them some extra money. If they see an opportunity they're going to start a business irregardless and no other reason. Greed rules.
