I do not agree with what Bundy did, but the prosecution holding back exculpatory evidence on the motion of discovery can bite them in the butt at a later trial by jury.
You can bet the defense will bring that information forward for the jury to ponder and make the Feds look like a bunch of jack booted thugs. Juries have a tendency to not like that scenario and may come back with a not guilty verdict. What makes it worse is the fact the FBI is facing attacks on their credibility by Congress and members of the jury may let that influence them on their decision of who is the biggest bad wolf of the two groups involved.

The attorneys should be sanctioned.

The FBI is Trump's favorite whipping boy. McCabe may soon be a former employee of the FBI but it doesn't touch Mueller. Trump is stuck with that one and there is little he can do at this point.

Why doesn't Trump fire the number two guy at the DOJ?

But the justice side needs to be held accountable for their mess ups if the Bundy tribe is to be held for theirs.
