Manafort got in on the act today by suing Mueller, Rosenstein and the DOJ for allowing Mueller to investigate too much.

Most doubt Manafort will prevail but I guess he is going down fighting.

Today on the local ABC news station they stated that Bannon wrote this in his tell all book. TRUMP DID NOT WANT TO WIN THE ELECTION AND WAS SURPRISED THAT HE WON.
Trump has a ego that is as big as Nemont's ego and there is no way that he did not want to win the election. It would be a severe blow to his ego.
Bannon's creditability just went out the window with that B.S. tale.
Also that tale destroys the allegation of Trump using Russian collusion to discredit Hillary to prevent her from winning the election. If Trump did not want to win, why would he get involved in a conspiracy to discredit Hillary and cause her to loose the election to him????

Dude are you really that ignorant. Trump dissolved that committee because numerous states would not cooperate and allow them to check the votes. Heck that was in the news for several days months back about states saying they will not allow Trump's committee check their ballots for possible voter fraud. Yeah if you have half a brain, you have figured out that it was blue states that did not want to cooperate.

Now since that committee can not do it's job, should Trump keep it on board and pay their salary so you can yell about him not being fiscal conservative and saving the tax payers money.

Also about that Russian meeting with Don jr. that Bannon claimed to know so much about. It happen about 2 months before Bannon was picked up to be on Trump's campaign team. That appears to be hearsay information at best, and Bannon lying at worse.

Trump will never be found guilty of collusion or Treason.

Allow me to repeat that TRUMP WILL NEVER BE FOUND GUILTY OF COLLUSION OR TREASON...EVER!

Why? Simple those that are literate understand that collusion in the legal definition is only criminal when it comes to Anti-Trust laws. Treason can only be applied if we are in an active war. Syntax.

Collusion is a catch all phrase like the word Treason, most Americans would define both literally not legally.

In this case collusion is simply the soon to be proven or unproven allegation of conspiracy. Treason is when you do not notify the FBI immediately that Russian nationals are interested in meeting with you...for any reason.

Here are the laws Trump & Co. actually could and are being charged with: Making False Statement to Federal Officials, Obstruction of Justice, Conspiracy, Violation of Federal Campaign Law, Computer Crime, Conspiracy to Commit Computer Crime, Tampering of a Federal Witness, Money-Laundering, Failure of Filing of Foreign Bank Accounts, Tax Fraud, with even more to come.

Chaffetz, Hatch, and now Ryan are all bailing ship..Chaffetz knew something. flipped and ran. Now Hatch Senate Pro Tempore who repeatedly claimed up until last week that he was seeking re-election in 2018 announced he's out while Ryan is sewing seeds. Rightly so, as I mentioned before Ryan and McConnell are dirty and now Mueller is investigating the GOP.
 
I have a little different take. In order for Bannon's senate candidates to win they will need to get the loyal Trump voters. Bannon going rogue on Trump will not help. To make big gains in the Senate democrats are going to need some of Bannon's wingnuts to win in the primary. This may make democrats feel good now but may hurt them in the fall.

The calculus stays the same whether they are Bannon wing nuts or Trump apologists. When there is a bruising primary battle it drains resources, damages the candidate and hurts their chances.

Will team Trump have any of their own candidates?

Be happy the Dems have to defend so many seats. In 2020 it is the opposite. There are a couple of vulnerable democrats regardless.

IMO the most vulnerable are these three:

Baldwin in Wisconsin
Heitkamp in North Dakota
McCaskill in Missouri

The one Republican race that looks interesting is in Nevada. Dean Heller and he is mostly vulnerable on his right flank for his Obamacare vote.

The Bannon/Trump feud does more damage to the Republicans than it does to the Democrats and whack job Bannon candidates will be on the ballot regardless.

Bannon alienating trump voters and isolating himself can only help the mainstream Republican candidates and weaken the candidates that he backs. His candidates will have a harder time making the primary competitive and few if any will win.

You have to ask how many truly competitive races are there? Name one of those where Trump's base helps the mainstream Republican candidate.

If Bannon had dumped on Trump before the Alabama primary some of the Trump/Bannon base would have dumped Bannon backed Moore and ether voted for Strange or not voted. That would have put Strange in the Senate.
A bunch of the Trump/Bannon voters likely now view Bannon as traitor. They will not vote as strongly for the Bannon backed right wing candidate in Nevada. This can only help Heller. With Heller the GOP has a fighting chance in Nevada.

Last week I was listing to a dem strategist on how they could take WY. There strategy depended on the Bannon backed candidate beating Baraso in the primary. Bannon is dividing the Trump/Bannon base. Now some will vote for Baraso and some will not vote. Baraso wins.
A divided Trump/bannon base will only help the mainstream Republicans. This isn't calculus it is simple addition and subtraction.
