Are there going to be any republicans left ? it's already a historic exodus and still growing. obviously they know reelection is an uphill fight, and winning insures they'd be required to betray the nation in Trump's defense . it's a lose lose situation.

Now Issa says he's out. since he voted against the CA tax increase he should have had a chance. maybe ne knows what's coming and would rather leave on his terms .

LAST EDITED ON Jan-31-18 AT 07:30PM (MST)[p]Dude just because some GOP members are retiring, does not mean their seats will be filled with Democrats. If Trump keeps the economy going, like he did this year, new GOP members will be filling those seats along with some that belonged to Democrats.
As for Gowdy, he made it very clear he is going back into the Justice system. You can bet he will be a future Federate Appellant Judge or Supreme Court Judge appointed by Trump.
Also there is about 14 Democrat members that will resign this year and their seats are up for grab.
