California vs Texas

On a recent run the governor of California and his dog was attacked by a coyote.
Heres where it gets real.
After the attack the governor was treated for a hand injury. 8k for hospital visit, another 5k for rabies treatment. The dog was taken to the vet, 2k for treatment. Then the governor closed the jogging trail and had the DWR trap the coyote to check for rabies, 40k. He then set up a commission to study the habits of urbanized wildlife 400k. He tasked the medical community with finding a eradication for rabies 3 million dollars of taxpayer dollars. He then spent another million dollars to warn the public using signage on the states trail system to be on the look out for wild animals. Total cost to tax payers 5 million dollars.
Same thing happens in Texas, the governor draws his state issued Glock and dispatches the Coyote. Total cost including the cost of the firearm Glock 550 dollars. .380 hollow point .50 cents.
And people wonder why California is broke.

Sometimes you just have to take a moment out of your day to acknowledge a grand act of mental masochism. It takes guts to come out and publicly discredit yourself in a fashion that showcases a complete lack factual knowledge on a public forum.

So kudos to this post!

Texas is big-time broke, screwed really, such is life when you employ moronic Republican fiscal tactics. Cut revenues and increase spending while borrowing against dwindling future revenues..brilliant!

California on the other hand...

Once again Gov. Jerry Brown has come in and cleaned up the fiscal ruins of more failed Republican attempts to bankrupt California. Too bad he couldn't overturn Prop 13.

Brown takes office in 2011 and California's budget deficit is $27 Billion. At the end of term ol Gov. Jerry will see a $8 Billion budget surplus for the state he represents.

In classic fashion the most ignorant of state republicans are now decrying for another failed give-back program like Douchemajian initiated, draining the budget yet again, amazing.

Texas is in trouble, they may not have enough money for basic social services. Their Rainy Day Fund is a joke, it is their bedrock to loan money against to keep the state afloat. One would think an actual rainy day like Hurricane Harvey would have called for use of their coveted $10 Billion Rainy Day Fund. Wrong.

http://www.houstonpress.com/news/wh...-day-fund-for-hurricane-harvey-relief-9828529

So..it's not really a Rainy Day Fund, it's just a vehicle to loan money against to keep the state operating.

They absolutely mess around in Texas, but apparently that's okay, given the new sheriff in the party. At least the corporate franchises saved money on taxes and now the tax payers of Texas can flip the bill for the shortfall.

FTW is only giving one half of the story, the good half. Here is the bad side of the story.

In CA. we have one of the highest state taxes in order to get that surplus, but that was not enough. FTW is not telling about how our counties in CA. can not afford to repair our roadways. The reason is Jerry Brown siphon off the gas tax money that used to be given to the counties to repair roadways for his "boondoggle bullet train" that has cost millions and projected to go way over budget.

So Jerry Brown and his liberal Democrats jacked up the gasoline tax that will be one of the highest in the nation for state gasoline taxes because he does not want to turn loose of his bullet train money.

That 6 million will be eaten up by the bullet train in no time and many many millions more before it is over.

Jerry Brown wants his legacy, the bullet train, because he may not be long for this world. His prostate cancer has returned and according to my source it does not look good for him. He will sell CA. and it's citizens down the tube for his legacy bullet train that will never recoup it's cost of 60-90 million dollars.

FTW you still have not answered my question as to why you left this great state you claim was run great by your liberal Democrats. Was the taxes too much for you or was it regulations or combination of both???

That was the reason why several Silicon Valley computer companies left CA. and moved to Dallas, Texas taking their tax dollars with them just like liberal FTW fled to Idaho.

To say CA is running a surplus is kind of like a teen aged girl who has a credit card balance of $25,000. She has monthly expenses of $500. One month she earns $510, so she gets all excited and claims a $10 surplus. Wahoo! She's rich!

Nobody wants to talk about California's unfunded liabilities.

I'm not that interested in Texas. I was there once.

FTW LETS MAKE A WAGER THAT CA WILL HAVE A 6.1 BILLION SURPLUS AT THE END OF THE DAY ON JUNE 30TH? I SAY NO WAY!

I'll take your bet on CA if you'll take my bet on Trump's national debt. deal ?

Californians aren't smart enough to pour pizz out of a boot. but Trump doesn't know what a boot is. so the worst I can do is break even.

I was thinking the other way around.

You don't have more confidence in Trump than californians ? I'm not sure who should be the most insulted by that.

Stay Thirsty My Friends

Dude you should be the one insulted because he just did a good job of out-foxing you. Now who is the dumb F##K.

O-kid,
Lumping all Californians into a group and calling them stupid? Not cool!
Please enlighten me with all of your superior intelligence. I've got a minute.

I've met too many Californian pilgrims and carpetbaggers in my neck of the woods. I can find plenty of locals to back me up, you're simply dipchits.

Trump's wall needs to be on CA's northern border.

Stay Thirsty My Friends

Dude the ones you met were our liberals that fled the state like FTW did. Go ask them where in CA. they are from and you will find a good portion of them will say the Bay area or Southern CA. around L.A. up to Santa Barbara. Please keep them as we do not want them back. You are right about them being low I.Q. material and no common sense at all. Should fit in with you to rub elbows with.

O-kid, why get so personal? How did you identify these so called "dipchits"?
I don't think that asking your locals for back-up would help your argument. Family tends to stick together. As with most cases, the inbreeding program in "your neck of the woods" will not sustain itself. Look at eelgrass photo above for clarification if your confused. lol
now if you don't mind I'll get back to my yoga, wine and cheese.

o-kid, and don't get your panties in a wad. I bet you I've spent more time gathering cattle, branding calves, processing heifers, and other fun stuff with guys I've hunted with, than you would ever guess.
I don't need or want your approval, and am in most cases embarrassed by California "hunters" as well.
However, bashing someone from a geographic area, without any personal dialog isn't productive. It may be entertaining, I grant you that, but not productive.
If you ever want to try to out hunt me, I'm game. Just a thought.
