Who appointed the current AG and Asst. AG, you know the guys charged with upholding federal laws, like currently, not like in 2015 when Holder resigned.

I don't think the Feds will go after a state official for making a public statement. I think the feds will try, but there will be some b.s. loophole this dumb lib will find to get away with it.
If there was any federal power, all state funding would already be cut because of the sanctuary status, marijuana laws etc. That's just my opinion.
As for the "Trump Dump Stooges" remark. You lump everyone into that group because they disagree with you and wouldn't vote for your girl Hillary. I didn't vote for Trump in our state primary because of the way he acts, the things he says and the way he treats people, well, kinda like how you act. But at the end of the day, Trump is your daddy for a few more years, so let it go. Lets talk about shooting big bucks or something.

If she is charged with a crime, it will be the tax payers in CA. that will loose. It will be tax payers dollars that will put up her bail and tax payers dollars that will pay for her defense team.

how do you know that I didn't accept Obama as my president? Maybe I'm not the only liar on this forum. As to that point, I did accept that idiot as my president, just like I did for every one before him.
As for where I'll go "for lying and stealing", I'll pray for that tomorrow when I go to Mass. I raise my kids to love God, country, hunting, individual effort and respect for one another, and I don't much care if you approve.
And to get back to the subject at hand, the mayor of Oakland will have her reckoning, but I don't think it will be from the feds. Not because its "Trumps" administration, but because the feds don't want to, or maybe can't, over reach into local and state politics. Maybe it's freedom of speech, I don't know, but unless she committed a federal crime, she won't be punished. Heck, she's a hero on the left coast I'm sure.

Clear something up for me, because for some strange reason, I think we can agree on something. Who was the conservative on the ticket last election? Did you vote? Anyone that voted for Trump thinking he was a fiscal conservative is a fool. I think the general public voted for him, plugging their nose, because they didn't want Hillary (and their wasn't a better option on the ticket, unless your libertarian). And if I remember correctly, California didn't vote for Trump, so that state will weep what they sow. It's a sanctuary state, and should be treated as such. No federal money going there! You can blame Trump, Obama, Bush or whoever, but none would have the testicular fortitude to do that.
I'll end with a quote from a Californian, "Can't we just all get along".

So this Oakland Mayor appears to have obstructed federal law enforcement from doing their job. Who should we expect to not allow her to get away with it?

It is well documented on here that I couldn't vote for either Trump or Hillary. They are two slices of bread in the same Shyt sandwich IMO. I am free to vote for whom ever I wish but here the belief is that I can only vote for who the parties say.

I align much more politically with Rand Paul than with Trump.

I post on here because I think it is funny to see what the excuse of the day is for the guys claiming they are conservative but support Trump regardless of what is actually happening.

So I guess where does the buck stop?

I'm not a Trump guy. He's done some good stuff so far, and some stupid stuff too. I'm glad you told me you're a Rand Paul guy, he's a stud, but he didn't win. I never thought, of the 12 or so guys and gals, on the Republican ticket, Trump would pull it off. But somehow he did, and we have to live with it for a few more years and see what happens. I can't re-write the future, and we can't change who's President.

As for the biatch in Oakland, she should be in shackles and getting fitted for a striped suit, I just don't think its gonna happen. Gavin Newsom will be the next one, and I hope the feds put him in a straight jacket with her.

I'm sure, or I hope I'm sure, the current administration is looking at every angle they can to put some cuffs on her. I hope the buck stops with her getting a cavity search. We'll see if it happens.
