Ocho.are to ready to get onboard?

>Why is Humboldt co. so rich
>with marijuana? What made
>people pick that area?
They are STONED

It started with the hippies in the 60's & 70's migrating to that area due to it's rural setting where they could become squatters on public land.
The locals and logging industry did not care for the hippies very much, now the hippies, AKA-marijuana growers are many and there to stay.

Just like all the homeless flocking to San Francisco and orange county being allowed to squat anywhere and getting free handouts from the liberals in those areas.

....they flocked there to be part of the non-stop logging/spotted owl protests and needed to stay supplied and make a little income to eat......

The broke hippies sold weed to the trust fund hippies.....and it grew and grew and grew.....

so.....do the get the surrounding 100 acres for free if they pay 35 cents per sq ft per month on the 225,000 sq ft green houses or do they have to pay 35 cents per square foot for all 100 acres??

is it $1,524,600 per month or $78,750 per month???

LAST EDITED ON Mar-07-18 AT 06:55PM (MST)[p]I'm not sure what the rent would be per month....but if you got 1.5 lbs. of bud per plant @ $1500 per pound....down from $4000/lb. until a few years ago.

Humboldt/Mendocino county started out in the 60's and 70's with a few hippies (tune in and drop out). It was not for the weed to begin with, more of a culture.

Land was relatively cheap. You could buy 20-40 acres for about $800/acre.

They started growing weed mostly because they could hide behind locked gates, with little to no law enforcement. Then sell it to their friends in the Bay area. It made it possible to live on the land. The soil in the mountains is only good for growing trees. They import truck and trailer loads of potting soil every year. The weather is ideal here too.

Over time they developed different unique strains of marijuana, some of which became world famous. (Like Pink Panty Dropper, Girl Scout Cookie, Sour Diesel, etc. :D Most now are far removed from the weak marijuana of old. Much higher in THC.

More and more people moved here just to grow weed. They call it the Green Rush. Now, a well hidden 40 acres will cost you about $500,000 on up. If you can find one.

When it became legal last year.....well, the real farmers will get involved and dominate the legal market. The little Mom and Pop hippies won't be able to compete.

But, 90% of the weed grown in Humboldt will be sold on the black market. Smuggled out of State. That's where the money will be. And there is still little to no law enforcement...

The above listing is in Hollister....not close to Humboldt.

Anything the ag industry can legally grow goes to chit fast. there will be such overproduction they'll be round baling it and feeding it to dry cows.

RELH will be buying his weed for 10% what he's paying in a few years.

Dude unlike you I am not a pot head or an alcoholic and do not use drugs. distilleries and breweries would go broke depending on me for sales. About 5 beers a year and maybe 3-4 mixed drinks and I do not care very much for wine.
I guess it is up to you to become the pot head since you are already an alcoholic. Have another shot.

You need to leave your beanie cap and knickerbockers at the taco stand and go to a real rodeo dance oldtimer. it would blow what's left of you little closed mind . I'd love to see you at Jordan Valley , Paulina or Spray . you'd either lighten up and have a great time or run away screaming like your teeth were on fire. whichever is fine.
