Bundy/Mesquite NV

Yesterday, I had an interesting conversation with one of the Bundys at a gas station west of Mesquite after our side view mirrors touched each other in the parking lot. Seemed like a decent guy. After some small talk I had to ask him...if he was related to Cliven? He said yes and mentioned he was a grandson. He jumped right into it and asked me this question? Can cattle graze on this hellacious BLM land? Holy ##### there is NO way cattle could graze on this God forbidden land. BTW he mentioned that they never had a contract with the Feds to graze on BLM land. He also said that the Las Vegas office was run by a bunch of over educated village idiots. LMAO

Life is crazy.

How did you know he was a Bundy in the first place? Was his face all squished? Was he wearing a tee shirt that said "Ask me about my Grand pappy Cliven"?

If they never had a contract then they were ALWAYS grazing illegally. They claim their family has owned the ranch and range for over a century. But history shows they only showed up there in 1948 or even later. They claim it's theirs. Yet they can't show anyone a deed or agreement or anything. In fact I bet those "village idiots" at BLM could show us a contract that they signed. Just because you say something over and over it doesn't make it a fact.

Their gene pool is a bit shallow. I think the hull of the boat is dragging bottom.
