When Is It Not Funny Anymore ?

We all like to laugh at how stupid and childish Trump is as he shoots his feet off on tweeter, yeah it's great I know.

But what about when it's effecting our national security, out military and peoples lives ? I don't find that funny I find it scary, and I find it treasonous if congress allows it to continue until the nation suffers or people die .

Trump is an idiot just like pretty much every modern POTUS before him and people are shocked? Why should we even have a president at all anymore? It's so crazy that half of the country thinks that Putin owns Trump and Trump takes his orders from Putin. And then are you suggesting that Putin gave Trump permission to threaten him and also Putin gave Trump permission to impose sanctions?

How many times did Obama run his mouth and embarrass himself and the country but I don't recall the Obama blowers calling for his impeachment? I know, I know, Obama isn't president anymore. I know, I know, we have to hold our guy to a higher standard. Why can't we hold them all to the same standard? The rest of the world knows that in a few short years we will have the next goon running the show so they'll just wait it out. The next goon might be even tougher on Russia and people will scream that he's going to get us all killed.

Nobody is getting nuked so just hold on and in 3 years you idiots will have the chance to put another looney libtard in the oval office so that you can get back to your dream of making the whole country like California.

If holding them to the same standards is the flavor of the month diversion where do we start? how about the debt , because we can put that in numbers our opinions don't weigh into it. Nemont, I think you missed my point. My point was that WE (the voters) should hold all presidents to the same standards and not turn a blind eye when "our guy" is elected. The American people should have a standard that is applied to all politicians but the two party system creates a divide in this country. I'm guilty of it and so is everyone else.

There's plenty of things to not like about Trump and I have blasted him for the spending. I've never claimed he was a conservative and I did not vote for him. I don't buy into the Russia thing and I could be wrong on that but the narrative has changed from a year ago when everything was Russia Russia Russia. Now it's Stormy.

There is also things to like about him and for me it is immigration. Your biggest rant on here is always the debt. That is great and I'm right there with you on it except that if we allow our country to be invaded by people who will likely be liberal voters and parasites, what kind of country will we be anyway?

So while you sit back in NE Montana and worry about your grand kids being strapped with high taxes, I worry about my grand kids even being able to find a damn job because they can't speak Spanish. It's been happening for years here in California. Go look up jobs on the internet in California and see how many say must be bilingual or bilingual preferred. I highly doubt that is much of a problem for you where you're from but it's a big problem in California. This is something that Trump wants to take care of that is highly important to me. The immigration problem is as important to me as the debt problem is to you so what do we do? According to you we excoriate Trump because he isn't tackling your pet peeve but in my world he is trying to get immigration under control so I'm not going to call for his head just yet.

The border and illegal immigration is an issue that matters to me. The amount of time and effort to defend his promise of a wall drains away needed resources that could go into enforcement in other ways. It hobbles him to a position that make the politics of it nearly impossible.

He can't retreat now and he can't seem to move forward on it. Blame who ever but Trump?s rhetoric once again makes things worse.
