Who watched? Pretty quiet here today on this. I figured there would be a bunch of trash talking. Anybody see Kellyann Con-man with her "I know you are but what am I?" response?

Couldn't help but laugh at Comey's description of Trump... short, small hands, orange skin, white half-circles under his eyes. LOL

Actually I didn't.

Are you that hurt by what Comey said that's the best you can do?

If you add to that "who probably has dirt on Trump that might be real but he can't prove" I will agree with you.

The thing about Comey is that he is just a dishonest person. I didn't watch the interview but I did read the transcript and I was amazed at all of the honesty, honesty, honesty and truth, truth, truth stuff that he spewed. I'm fine with that and that is how I want all of government to be but why then when Loretta Lynch asked him to call the Clinton criminal email investigation a "matter" did he do as he was told knowing that it was a criminal investigation and not a "matter"?

That was a dishonest characterization of the investigation but he lied about it anyway even after thinking to himself that it was not a "matter". He claims that he is this holier than thou, maintain the credibility of the department type of person on all things related to Trump but falls in lock step when told what to do by Loretta Lynch.

I think there was several people above him and below him that were running cover for Hillary Clinton and given the fact that he didn't do the actual investigation himself, and that the FBI allowed Clinton to destroy the evidence, he didn't have enough to hang her.

Comey, reinstate your integrity and admit that you made a huge mistake by calling it a "matter" which would help influence the election instead of calling it what it was, a criminal investigation. Admit that Loretta Lynch who is supposed to be impartial wanted you to run cover for Clinton and you were dishonest by doing it. Otherwise, you're just a lying shill.

Kelly Ann couldn't answer so why don't you, where is your proof he lied? it's your bullchit opinion he lied that's all you have.

http://theweek.com/speedreads/76772...s-kellyanne-conway-actually-prove-comey-lying

I don't know if he lied because I don't have the proof either way. but considering Trump is a proven pathological liar I'm going to have to give Comey the benefit of the doubt. unless you can prove something to the contrary? well ?

This would be a great time for your orange man to produce those tapes don't you think ?

What proof does comey have?

Comey is the poster boy for government hierarchy. While brave agents risk their lives confronting danger, their director hides in the curtains. While agents pursue truth, Comey plays word games(matter).

I've learned. If a Mormon introduces himself as "brother"....., prepare for the scam. If an athlete has to tell you how good he is, its cuz he's not that good, and if someone constantly talks about honesty, they are a lying POS.

Comey reminds me of Stuart Little. Having to sit in front of a mirror, " James you're honest, James you are brave, James you are moral, James your special".

What a sad display of how in gov agencies you fail upwards.

And if a president has to explain he is a stable genius, rest assured he is a moron.

In the big picture Comey is irrelevant. everything he has to say Mueller knows and after that it's just a pizzing match between him and the orange retard. the orange retard is the one who tuned obstruction of justice into a reality show featuring name calling and lies so Comey has the right to defend himself if he choses to. and he has.

If you look at the two men's lives side by side and if you're not sure which one possesses the most integrity there is your sign. you might be a moron.

I think it' time for Comey to fade away and he will. let's focus on Trump's resignation or impeachment that's what's news today.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-17-18 AT 07:01PM (MST)[p]Are we? unlike you, we pretty well figured out that Comey was and still is a dirty cop. As for the Cohen case, the Democrat snakes in D.C. are lining up their friends in order to push ahead with the witch hunt that has so far by passed Trump.

The federal judge presiding over the Michael Cohen case finds herself at the center of one of the toughest legal brawls of the Trump era -- but District Judge Kimba Wood is no stranger to the spotlight.

She has a colorful and potentially controversial past that could arise as the case involving President Trump's personal attorney moves forward. Trump allies were quick to note that Wood once was considered for attorney general by then-President Bill Clinton -- and she even officiated the wedding of left-wing billionaire George Soros.

Former Trump adviser and current Fox News contributor Sebastian Gorka said Wood should recuse herself.

?Now she has power over the lawyer who works for the man who beat Bill?s wife in the 2016 election,? he tweeted. ?WHERE?S THE THE RECUSAL??

Comey?s actions are ?unworthy? of the FBI, says former Assistant Director and 24-year veteran agent.

Seems that even a high ranking FBI member feels that Comey was not a honorable person by FBI standards. Unlike a few bias idiot we have on this forum that thinks he was such a great guy that stood for law and order.

Yeah, just like the Mexican judge was out to get him. listen to yourself, the cops, the FBI, the CIA , the DOJ, the FFA , PTA and all judges are the problem and you can't trust them. what they've done to poor innocent Donny is unfair and illegal. just GFYS.

This is probably right. and it's probably why the orange skid marks you're sniffing in Trump's panties are getting bigger.

A "reality TV star" is far above the crook that the Democrats gave us a choice of against that reality T.V. star. He is not perfect by a long shot, but the other choice would have been a outright crook and possible traitor to our country by buying a primary election to run off better candidates with the collusion of the DNC. To me that is beyond being scary as to what it would have led too.

First of all, this isn't about Hillary. Again. But it's all you've got.

Secondly, it's so easy to discredit Stormy because she' a porn star. Yet we are supposed to pray to Trump as the greatest even though he had no experience or proven ability at being a world leader. None. Zero. He was a reality tv "star" and billionaire Shyster. That doesn't mean he can run a country.

Some will say the economy proves he can do it. I say Stormy Daniels is bringing him to his knees. Don't under estimate the possibilities of what she and her scumbag lawyer are capable of.

For RELH everything is about Hillary. she's the only thing that works for him besides his little blue pills DW says.

Why can't we set some priorities ? what if anything Hillary or anyone she ever talked to is guilty of not in any way shape or form more news worthy that what the sitting president and his crime family are suspected of. front page news, back page news. you can't swap them and think we'll accept it.

If your goons are innocent tell them to act like it. suppressing evidence and looking for ways to hinder or halt an investigation is what guilty people do.

There is only one way out of this the dumpster fire has any chance at all of being put out so this pathetic regime can carry on until 2020. and that's a full investigation by Mueller finding no wrong doing. stop fighting it and embrace it so it will end ASAP. if you have nothing to hide that is. Ha !

This is not only about Hillary or Trump. I find it troubling that our on board liberals can accept what Hillary and the DNC tried to do. They came within a hair's thickness of destroying a free American election and our libs fail to recognize that corruption for what it was.

You call yourself an American, but in reality you not fit to be an American and this country would be better off if you pack your bags and fled to a socialist country to never come back.

In 1965 I joined the Army right out of high school prepared to fight for my country and it's citizens. Today I would have trouble doing that again as too many citizens in this country are not worth A single drop of blood of a serviceman or woman.

If you want to talk about military service as a qualifier how much duty did Trump or anyone in his family pull ? what about Pence ? his cabinet except McMaster who's on the outs ? I don't know why you pulled that out of your azz but it doesn't help your argument at all.

Dude you are one of those guys who never served his country. That along does not make a person un-American or not a good citizen.
The fact you support what the DNC did in collusion with Hillary is what makes you un-American and you should pack your bags and just leave before you and others like you destroy this great country.

RELH

President Trump late Thursday tweeted that the newly released memos written by former FBI Director James Comey ?show clearly? no collusion with Russia in 2016 and no obstruction into the investigation.

The memos, which were written by Comey about his interaction with Trump, prove that the fired FBI director never felt obstructed, GOP lawmakers said. Many Democrats claim that Trump tried to hold up the FBI?s investigation into alleged collusion leading up to the 2016 election.

?James Comey Memos just out show clearly that there was NO COLLUSION and NO OBSTRUCTION. Also, he leaked classified information. WOW! Will the Witch Hunt continue?? Trump tweeted.

You have FAR less proof Hillary did anything than there is of what Trump has done. and you declare Hillary guilty and trump innocent. what a retard. how about this, once Mueller is done impeaching Trump we'll toss him on Hillary ? deal ? not that it makes a phuking bit of difference but if that's all in life you have to cling to knock yourself out. see if I give a FF.

The other thing is painfully simple. why is he obstructing justice if he's innocent? you do know obstruction of justice is an impeachable offense don't you ? if he's innocent it would pay him to act like it.

One last thing, wouldn't this be a great time to release those Comey tapes ? yeah, it would sure clear up who the liar is since we just don't know. HA!!

Stay Thirsty My Friends

Are you that stupid that you do not know those tapes would have been released long ago if they exist or show Trump is lying. The top ranking Democrats would have been climbing over each other to release those so called tapes.

You being a fool is one thing, believing anything Comey says is laughable at best. Even McCabe is turning against him and so has Hillary over his statements to save his own butt. Maybe that is why you support him, lying comes easy to both of you.

RELH

>Are you that stupid that you
>do not know those tapes
>would have been released long
>ago if they exist or
>show Trump is lying.

So if the tapes dont exist doesn't that also show Trump was lying about the tapes existing? Not saying youre wrong or right. Just trying to keep it straight here.

RELH,

It was Trump who claimed he taped his conversations with Comey. Remember Comey saying he hoped the president did tape them?

Trump is a known liar. Comey seems to be bent on destroying any shred of a legacy he may have once had. It seems Comey is just too eager to please. Whether Comey is ever prosecuted on any of it, I am still willing to make that bet. Same with Hillary, Obama, Lynch.

At this point it is a giant cluster that is going to end badly for the entire nation but we shall see. Trump still has time to again pull defeat from the jaws of victory on this by doing something stupid.

Deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein penned the memo recommending Comey's dismissal
President Donald Trump followed the recommendation of his deputy attorney general when he fired FBI boss James Comey. What did Rod Rosenstein say? This is his letter in full.
Memorandum for the Attorney General
FROM: Rod J Rosenstein
SUBJECT: Restoring public confidence in the FBI
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has long been regarded as our nation's premier federal investigative agency. Over the past year, however, the FBI's reputation and credibility have suffered substantial damage, and it has affected the entire Department of Justice. That is deeply troubling to many Department employees and veterans, legislators and citizens.
The current FBI Director is an articulate and persuasive speaker about leadership and the immutable principles of the Department of Justice. He deserves our appreciation for his public service. As you and I have discussed, however, I cannot defend the Director's handling of the conclusion of the investigation of Secretary Clinton's emails, and I do not understand his refusal to accept the nearly universal judgment that he was mistaken. Almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes; it is one of the few issues that unites people of diverse perspectives.
The director was wrong to usurp the Attorney General's authority on July 5, 2016, and announce his conclusion that the case should be closed without prosecution. It is not the function of the Director to make such an announcement. At most, the Director should have said the FBI had completed its investigation and presented its findings to federal prosecutors. The Director now defends his decision by asserting that he believed attorney General Loretta Lynch had a conflict. But the FBI Director is never empowered to supplant federal prosecutors and assume command of the Justice Department. There is a well-established process for other officials to step in when a conflict requires the recusal of the Attorney General. On July 5, however, the Director announced his own conclusions about the nation's most sensitive criminal investigation, without the authorization of duly appointed Justice Department leaders.
What was Clinton FBI probe about?
Compounding the error, the Director ignored another longstanding principle: we do not hold press conferences to release derogatory information about the subject of a declined criminal investigation. Derogatory information sometimes is disclosed in the course of criminal investigations and prosecutions, but we never release it gratuitously. The Director laid out his version of the facts for the news media as if it were a closing argument, but without a trial. It is a textbook example of what federal prosecutors and agents are taught not to do.
In response to skeptical question at a congressional hearing, the Director defended his remarks by saying that his "goal was to say what is true. What did we do, what did we find, what do we think about it." But the goal of a federal criminal investigation is not to announce our thoughts at a press conference. The goal is to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to justify a federal criminal prosecution, then allow a federal prosecutor who exercises authority delegated by the Attorney General to make a prosecutorial decision, and then - if prosecution is warranted - let the judge and jury determine the facts. We sometimes release information about closed investigations in appropriate ways, but the FBI does not do it sua sponte.
Concerning his letter to the Congress on October 28, 2016, the Director cast his decision as a choice between whether he would "speak" about the FBI's decision to investigate the newly-discovered email messages or "conceal" it. "Conceal" is a loaded term that misstates the issue. When federal agents and prosecutors quietly open a criminal investigation, we are not concealing anything; we are simply following the longstanding policy that we refrain from publicizing non-public information. In that context, silence is not concealment.
My perspective on these issues is shared by former Attorneys General and Deputy Attorneys General from different eras and both political parties. Judge Laurence Silberman, who served as Deputy Attorneys General under President Ford, wrote that "it is not the bureau's responsibility to opine on whether a matter should be prosecuted." Silberman believes that the Director's "Performance was so inappropriate for an FBI director that [he] doubt the bureau will ever completely recover." Jamie Gorelick, Deputy Attorney General under President George W. Bush, to opine that the Director had "chosen personally to restrike the balance between transparency and fairness, department from the department's traditions." They concluded that the Director violated his obligation to "preserve, protect and defend" the traditions of the Department and the FBI.
Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who served under President George W Bush, observed the Director "stepped way outside his job in disclosing the recommendation in that fashion" because the FBI director "doesn't make that decision". Alberto Gonzales, who also served as Attorneys General under President George W Bush, called the decision "an error in judgement." Eric Holder, who served as Deputy Attorneys General under President Clinton and Attorneys General under President Obama, said that the Director's decision "was incorrect. It violated long-standing Justice Department policies and traditions. And it ran counter to guidance that I put in place four years ago laying out the proper way to conduct investigations during an election season." Holder concluded that the Director "broke with these fundamental principles" and "negatively affected public trust in both the Justice Department and the FBI".
Former Deputy Attorneys General Gorelick and Thompson described the unusual event as "real-time, raw-take transparency taken to its illogical limit, a kind of reality TV of federal criminal investigation," that is "antithetical to the interests of justice".
Donald Ayer, who served as Deputy Attorneys General under President HW Bush, along with former Justice Department officials, was "astonished and perplexed" by the decision to "break[] with longstanding practices followed by officials of both parties during past elections." Ayer's letter noted, "Perhaps most troubling? is the precedent set by this departure from the Department's widely-respected, non-partisan traditions."
We should reject the departure and return to the traditions.
Although the President has the power to remove an FBI director, the decision should not be taken lightly. I agree with the nearly unanimous opinions of former Department officials. The way the Director handled the conclusion of the email investigation was wrong. As a result, the FBI is unlikely to regain public and congressional trust until it has a Director who understands the gravity of the mistakes and pledges never to repeat them. Having refused to admit his errors, the Director cannot be expected to implement the necessary corrective actions.

Now that Trump is cornered in Moscow he's decided the best thing to do is cut his losses and just say Comey lied. how original. yeah, a year ago while still director Comey thought, I'm going to lie about Trump saying he never spent a night in Moscow. yeah, that will come in useful someday. WTF ever. if you believe that you're as dumb as a trump chump.

Until the evidence came out Trump never uttered a peep about this " lie " , but today it's yes I did. isn't that odd... when the " lie " was helping Trump because you can't get peed on if you aren't there he was fine with it. when the truth came out then it was a " lie ". hard to figure this out huh ?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-26-18 AT 10:08AM (MST)[p]I don't give two shyts about how many nights he spent in Russia. I don't care how many hookers he had piss on him. I don't even care if they were men or women or even if they videod him and Putin doing two men, one cup. And to keep Califforky happy I wish Trump the best. His successes or failures affect all of us. What I do not like, no, what I HATE is the kind of man who almost every single time he finds himself in a corner his first response is to lie or throw up a smoke screen. I don't trust a guy like that. Not to mow my lawn, deliver my paper or be my president.

He has lied so much about so many things that he can't keep track of the lies he told. I too give a rats a@@ about him banging a porn star. If he had just said, "Yep it happened" and leave it at that, his base would have loved him even more.

His first inclination is to lie even when he could get away with the truth. That makes him untrustworthy and everything he does, says, acts on or signs is suspect to being less than honest and perhaps concealing important facts. There is not a single Trumpette who cares if he lies though so it's all good as long as he delivers more debt and more spending after making his deal, they will cheer like teenage girls at a Bieber Concert.

Is Trump a liar? I am sure he is. So was Bill Clinton and Hillary. Obama told some whoppers during his 8 years. I can not think of one politician in Washington D.C. who is truthful all the time. They all lie to protect their job or their party.
That makes me wonder why all the yelling about Trump and not about the other liars we have in D.C.

RELH

So you trusted those liars? Or since they lied you assumed they were liars and you called them out for lying? Why the double standard for Trump? Oh that's right he is your liar and what he says is okay and trust worthy.

But wait a goddamn minute!!! You guys have been telling me that Trump isn't a politician and that's what makes him so desirable as president. He's different you say. Gonna drain the swamp you say. Gonna throw out all the lying politicians you say.

But when called on it you constantly justify his actions by giving examples of how real politicians have done the same or worse.

Can you remind me why he's different?

NVBH that is very easy to answer. take a look what Obama did in his 8 years. Nothing-Nada. Now take a look what Trump has been able to do even when in a knock down fight with the Democrats.

Oh, did you see that the economy is on the up swing again and most small business expect a good year for 2018. Trump is bringing Lil Kim to the bargain table. Obama, Bush, and Clinton was never able to do that.

We got a more conservative appointee to the Supreme court then what Obama appointed. A new tax bill was passed that everyone thought was impossible to do for the past years.

RELH

OK, I can read the news too about how great America is again. But when I look around me at reality I'm not sure.

Obama had his share of problems with Congress too. Birth certificates, having his religion continually attacked not to mention working in complete congressional gridlock for his entire 8 years. I'm not saying he was worth a darn, just saying Trump isn't alone in that. At least Trump supposedly has a full republican dominated congress. In most cases it's his morality that has put him where he is.

Looking around where I live...

Housing sucks here, as it has since Bush's recession. Almost no housing starts. Started and stalled developments continue to be traded as one after another builder goes bankrupt waiting. There is just now beginning to be a shortage of houses that were not short sales and foreclosures.

I'm not making any more money annually under Trump than I did under Obama. Well I am, but I am also working at two occupations at once.

My income taxes were higher this year than last.

My health care premiums went up 12%, and that was only after agreeing to receive less benefit and higher deductible. My health care costs out of my pocket are still on the rise (remember Repeal and Replace, never happened).

My property taxes have risen even though they are supposedly capped under statute.

Unemployment in my area has gone down. But not with fulltime jobs that can support a family. Employers are continuing to fill labor needs with part time, low paying, non-benefited jobs.

Many small businesses in my area are still having the same troubles as they have been for years. I hope your knife business is going well.

On a national/international level...

Kim is coming to the table. Time will tell if he is coming to really bargain or not.

Our level of respect around the world is as low as I have seen it in my lifetime.

Is Trump doing ok in some areas? Sure. I can't argue that. So did Obama I guess. Even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while.

Obama also had a majority of Democrats in Congress in his first two years and all he gave us was Obama Care. Might be the reason your health care went up

Housing is doing ok in my area with new starts and prices going up again. In fact vacation homes around the lakes are selling again at a good pace.

Small business outlook is looking brighter according to owners I know. Their big b!tch is state Democrats raising taxes especially the gasoline tax and vehicle registration.

Wife finished having taxes done and said we paid less this year on Federal.

Bottom line instead of crying in my beer, I will give Trump his full 4 years before I decide to vote again for him or someone else.

If Bernie Sanders is the Democrat choice next time, I will vote for the devil before voting for that commie socialist liar.

RELH

NVB, did I strike a nerve or something?

When are you guys going to figure out that it is a REQUIREMENT to lie to become POTUS? Do you really think that any candidate whether they were a politician or not could get elected if they told the American people that they would have to cut their SS and Medicare in order to get our debt under control? If Trump had said that in reality because Congress sucks, I probably won't get Obamacare repealed or a wall built, would he have been elected?

THEY ALL LIE. It doesn't make it right or good but it's the only way to win. Don't believe me? Show me a president that didn't lie?

>...the key to it is to
>lie with an Ivy league
>accent....

If you ask me the real key is to know when to lie and how to word it so you don't have to tell multiple lies to try to get back to something reasonable. When it's your first line of defense and you don't think about it before the bullsh!t comes out of your mouth you're in trouble every single time. Its hard to be credible that way.

Hillary was never president. If you're talking about a lifetime of lies its probably a close race. Trump didn't just start lying when he became president. And Hillary didn't quit lying when she didn't.

>Hillary was never president. If you're

This Political BS has Really Been Working You Recently NVB!

This Country is F'D Up!

Stick around!

It'll get Worse!

It Ain't Easy being Me!:D:D:D

Actually you are the one who implied it's ok if Trump lies because they all lie. I just responded to Homers comment about Ivy league accents. If Trump is gonna lie then his defenders shouldn't deny it and he should at least pick his battles. Who had the most people at their inauguration should have been the first clue he's a compulsive liar. The man is incapable of telling the truth.

Darn NVBH, I can not tell if you are talking about Trump or the Democrats in D.C. Then again you can also throw in the press when it comes to lying.

RELH

Would you like me to say it louder? TRUMP IS A LIAR!! Just like all of the previous presidents before him. They all ran a campaign and promised things they couldn't deliver so they are all liars. That is the standard that Trump is held to so he fits right in. I'm not saying it's okay, I'm just saying you CANNOT win the USA presidential election unless you lie, period! Prove me wrong.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-27-18 AT 11:10AM (MST)[p]Ca,

Here is the difference. Trump lies about meaningless things that have no bearing on the debt, Social Security, National Security, Threats to our economy, how tough congress is or anything that would be of consequence.

From the size of his fortune to not knowing his lawyer was paying of a pornstar will never make the history books. Yet, his compulsion is to lie first and then say he didn't lie when the truth makes an appearance.

I think any American voter with two firing brain cells understands the political need to tell the people what they want to hear. That isn't what Trump does, he tells the people what he wants to hear. That is a very different thing.

Nemont

Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no responsibility at the other.

Well lol, I would much rather him lie about meaningless things than the important things that really affect people. I don't give a rats ass if he lied about Stormy Daniels. I would only consider broken campaign promises real lies if he didn't even try to do it. He has tried to build a wall and repeal Obamacare but he also needs Congress to do it. The debt I will give you. He absolutely lied about that.

I want an 8x10 of the look on your face when you finally realize none of this is ever going to stick to Trump because there was no truth in any of it.

The former mayor also called for former FBI Director James Comey to be prosecuted for leaking classified information, at one point calling him "a disgraceful liar."

"I have never, ever... leaked a damn thing," said Giuliani, referring to his time as a U.S. Attorney. "I would have considered resigning if I ever did that."

Comey, who was fired by Trump as FBI director in May 2017, has admitted giving memos about his conversations with President Trump to at least three people -- including members of his legal team. He has claimed that the memos were personal documents, not government property.

Giuliani said that Trump had dismissed Comey because "Comey would not, among other things, say that [Trump] wasn't a target of the [Russia] investigation. He's entitled to that. Hillary Clinton got that [during the email investigation.] And he couldn't get that.

"You can't blame the president for feeling, 'I am not being treated the same way [Clinton was]," Giuliani said.

At one point, Giuliani addressed Comey directly, saying that "every FBI agent in America has his head down because of you. It would be good ... if God had kept you out of being the head of the FBI."

Good enough for you?

Maybe Trump will put Rudy in a cabinet position soon. Seems to be an upstanding kind of guy

I wonder what Giuliani's record is on gun control.
