Antelope hide coloration

I mounted an antelope about 3 days ago, and when i went to do finishing work I noticed the hide had totally lost its vibrancy/rich coloration. I assume that's just the nature of a wet tan drying out, but is there any way to keep that better coloration?

LAST EDITED ON Jan-15-19 AT 08:13PM (MST)[p] This is my routine on Antelope.
Skin and flesh ASAP try not to freeze.
Hand wash with a cheap shampoo and a bit of blood eater.
Rince out about 5 times making sure no soap is left. Hang to drip for a few min.
Roll up in a towel and remove excess water.
Completely salt rubbing it into the flesh side. Hang to drip for a few hours. Resalt again for few hours, then resalt again and leave overnight. You use a bit more salt but you are putting a lot of moisture into the hide when you wash it. If you do not wash antelope then the blood gets sucked up into the hair as it's hollow and will not come out even after the tanning process is complete. All my fur bearing animals go threw this same procedure. Hope this helps.
