Muley with oakbrush

I want to include some habitat with my muley mount. I shot the buck in a really thick stand of oakbrush which I think would be cool to include in the mount if possible.

Have any of you seen a muley mount with oakbrush habitat? Its not a real attractive plant in Nov. so I'm hesitant on how it would look. Any pics would be great.

Go for it.
I like adding habitat to the mounts. Tules aren't very attractive but I made some and added them to my Tule Elk.
If I ever get a big Rocky he's going to have some quakies or junipers depending on where I get him. And if I get real lucky and tag a big Roosevelt he's going to have ferns and moss.

How about just a dash of oak leaves like this one. Still gives the oak leaves effect, but doesn't over power the deer.

Great looking mount DBD.

I couldn't visualize anything that I thought would look good so I chickened out. The taxi is almost done so I won't be getting any habitat or structure with this mount.

Will post pics when its done though

Nice mount Travis. Is that custom rock, or purchased off the shelf? You gotta quit killing so many big bucks and leave a few for us weekend warriors

Rock is custom built in our shop.
I wish that buck were mine! It's a buck we did for a customer a couple of years ago. It's off the Henries. I think its 225" or so gross. Heck of a pretty buck.
