Just curious who you guys think does the best quality work with mule deer? I'm talking about overall quality, face, eyes, ears, muscle definition, etc. I have seen Paul Penny's work, Big Stuff Taxidermy, Wildlife Recreations, etc. All do excellent work.

There are a lot of great one and a lot of bad ones. Dakota Taxidermy, Summit Taxidermy, Autumn Pride, etc to name a few are tremendous. Just find the one you are comfortable with and away you go. I have a very good friendship with the taxidermists I use.

I have had taxidermy work done in South Dakota, Wyoming & Utah. Autum Pride - Kevin Petersen in Hyrum Utah is the real deal.

i have not had any work done by Kevin (autumn pride) but from what i saw when i was up talkng sheep with him last summer he is one of the best, Sam Raby in draper is also a good one to think of...

There's just a few minor things, that turn into major things when turning a good mount into a great mount. You guys know what I'm talking about. There is a few guys that have that figured out. Stephan, at Summit Taxidermy in Coalville is one of those guys.

Paul pennie did a deer for me last year. All of my animals will be going to him from now on. Very good to work with, and the deer looks amazing.

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

Mike Christensen at Sage Basin located in American Fork has done 3 deer and 2 antelope for me. I am very pleased and have had several people comment how realistic his work looks. He is also one hell of a nice guy.

I am new to the forum but have been reading for some time now. Thought I would throw my recommendation out there. KCK Taxidermy in Hyrum has done two deer for me and they are well done (sorry no pics). He does a great job with fish as well. Good and honest to work with and does a great job.
