The tops are built with a one inch inlay so your taxidermist can add desired scenery. The top of the pedestal comes off in order to assist your taxidermist in attaching your mount to the base. The pedestals are available in various sizes, styles and dimensions, including octagons. I currently have several square pedestals in stock, suitable for elk, moose, antelope, deer or dual mounts, as well as one inverted stump pedestal.
