mounts and windows?

I just moved my deer mount next to a window. The blinds will cast a lot of light on the mount. How long will I have until the cape/mount is damaged? I like the location of it in the house, but I would hate to have the cape sun bleached?

Personally, I would not leave it there long. I cannot tell you the last time I opened the blinds in my trophy room. Other than electrical lighting that room stays dark all the time. It won't happen fast but it will happen.
