LAST EDITED ON Apr-23-12 AT 09:41PM (MST)[p]I've always had a passion for top end taxidermy.
Not all of my mounts are of highest quality, but at this stage of my hunting career, when I take that rare special animal I have no problem seeking out the masters of their craft even if I must ship the mount cross country.
Ron Colulter of Comanche Texas has a gift in mounting those sleek coated Texas bucks the likes of which are very rare indeed.
Indeed, these are Texas whitetails, but I'm certain that same skills that goes into these bucks would shine on the sleek September blacktails that I hunt.
The clean crisp lines, the paper thin ears and eye symmetry are all outstanding.
I found his work to be exceptional and thought I'd share...
