I killed an old mountain lion this winter. It had cataracts. Which gave the eyes a very blue eyed look. Looking for a supplier has, or that can make good quality glass eyes either in blue, or with a blue tint. Can anyone help?? See picture, to see what I mean.....

ok here it is. tried to upload with ipad. wouldnt allow. so used computer. fyi

LAST EDITED ON Aug-03-12 AT 08:21AM (MST)[p]That's pretty cool. I had a tag in 03 and we treed a big female with blue eyes like that only more of a solid blue. It jumped out of the tree and stopped on the ground a couple hundred yards from the tree with the hounds howling right in her face and us standing five feet from her. You could tell she was all but blind. I don't know if it is a common thing but your cat is the only other one I've ever seen like that.

Thank you to all! I'll check out your suggestions. I'll post a picture of the ol boy once he's mounted!

Just a comment; no more no less. But isn't that just how the light happended to hit the eyes? I have seen elk like that, deer like that. Just a comment, not trying to start a war. I think it is just a combination of the right light, camera, etc. Maybe that is how they really are but just curious more than anything.

Yeah the blue was there in every pic. And the whole time we had it treed. You could tell he was close to blind.
Even once dead. We pulled back eyelids. To see very obvious cataracts. He was an old Tom. When I checked him in the warden said this was his last year. Not only the cataracts, but he had terrible pads(worn), and teeth busted. And instead hunting deer, he had started to go after cattle. From what I understand that's what they start doing when they get old and tired and deer are too tough to kill. If you all want to see pics of teeth, pads, etc. let me know. Not offended by comments. I'd think the same. If I wouldn't have seen him in tree. Thx

By the way, thank you all for info. Your guy is making up the eyes for me now.

I thought this post was interesting. Would love to see the finished mount
