Old California Muley

I'm puting these antlers on a plaque for a friend. He was killed in the 50's near Bishop and has been hanging in a barn for most of that time. He is a 32 inch 4X5. A shooter even with a short left main beam. The antlers have been spray painted black at some point. You can see where a piece of tape has been and how dark the horn is under it. I have no idea what to do about the color and I'll tell him to take them to a real taxidermist to see if they can be repainted or stained.







Every hunting season you miss is one you can not make up

Nice rack. Will look sweet mounted.
