There are a few ways to install a repro-nose. This is the way I've found that works best for me. The first thing you'd want to do when you get your repo-nose is to see if it will align up with your form. You will also need to take your eye to nose measurement before and after you install it. Make sure to stay within that measurement. If your repo-nose doesn't have a lip slot use a dremel tool and cut one out. I cut mine 1/4 inch deep. Drill small holes in the back and bottom of repo-nose then use sandpaper to ruff up those areas. Clean those areas up with some kind of cleaner...I use Acetone.
#1 Fold a sheet of Construction paper in half, then again in half.
#2 Align up your Reproduction nose on the paper with the folded creases.
#3 Trace the Repo-nose all the way on the paper.
#4 Cut down two strips one on each side of the paper about 1 inch wide.
#5 Cut out your trace line from the nose.
#6 Put your repo-nose back inside cut out area. Bring down the outside strips down until the back of the paper aligns up with back of the repo-nose. Staple strips to the bottom of the paper.
#7 Place cut out over the form nose. Make sure it aligns up right then trace paper cut out onto form.
#8 Cut out trace line from top of the nose to bottom of lip line. Then from front of nose cut back following the bottom lip line to where the top cut meets.
#11 Put repo-nose in cut out slot and reshape the form to fit repo-nose.
#12 Bondo bottom of repo-nose and put on to top of cut out lip slot.
#13 Use masking tape to seal gap between mannikin and repo-nose. Leave a small opening on top to pour Bondo in.
#14 Mix up some Bondo with Acetone in a small wax cup and hardener.
#15 Pour mix down the hole on top of the repo-nose and form. Make sure you get it all the way filled.
#16 When Bondo starts kicking in scrape off excess and clean lip slot out before it hardens. Clean up with Acetone.
