Hey guys,
I have a buddy in Utah who is wanting to get a great deer mounted for his cabin. He was asking me who I thought would do the best quality job [long lasting, attention to detail, muscle definition, etc.] in Utah. I know Paul Penny does a phenomenal job, but am open to other suggestions. Also, he is worried the safety of his antlers due to all the stories lately of taxi shops being broken into, etc. So, what do you guys think? Who can be trusted to do the job? Thanks for any/all advice.

I like Troy Truman's work. He is in Enterprise UT.

Another vote for Stephan Woolstenhulm. In the last 3 years he has mounted my LE elk, life size mountain lion and will be mounting my wife's life size lion this year. Easily done over 20 other mounts for my close family and friends in the last 8-10 years. All have been top notch and with good turn around time at a fair price. I attend all of the taxidermy shows and his work is always at the top. Send me a pm and I can text or email pictures if desired. Sliverslinger400

I really like the last picture with the wall pedistal mount. Any idea what form was used on that mount?

He uses a form from research manikins and modifies it a little. I have had him do 4 on that form. Two right hand turns and two left. I'm glad you like it. I could probably find out a specific part number if you would like. Just let me know.

Thanks for the reply. If you could find the part number for left and right turn that would be great. I would like to have it on file for my next mount. Thanks again. Louie

Research manikin semi sneak NQ90 offset wall ped. Pick the one that is the right size for your deer. MD-334B-X2W
