Ok, so I do chainsaw carvings and I started carving an end table out of a solid piece of Red Cedar. The more I looked at it, the more I thought it would look good as a base for a deer pedestal mount or other animal. I will show you all as soon as I am finished. I have seen items similar to this before on here, but I feel I have a little something different to offer. The question is.....Does the Taxidermist usually buy the pedestals and pass the cost on to the customer or does the customer usually round up something like this and purchase to take to the taxidermist? Just wondering what the best way to get them shown to people is? I am sure a lot of Taxidermist do all there own work, but I would imagine a lot of them don't have time to mess with it. Thanks for the help
