Deer Pedestal Mount Ideas

I am having my mule deer mounted on a floor pedestal, and am looking for some ideas as to what others have done as far as the pedestal design is concerned, as well as how the deer is positioned on the pedestal. Any pictures of ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I built this pedestal for last seasons blacktail. I made it out of white pine and used a piece of granite for the top.

I'm not a fan of the cookie cutter, square or octagon bases everyone uses. This customer wanted something that looked "western".

Thanks for all of the ideas. They all are unique and look awesome. I brought back a rock and some burnt wood from where i shot my deer, so i am going to incorporate that somehow into my pedestal mount. Thanks guys
