Birds are a species you definitely don't want to skimp and try to save $ on for mediocre work! As you are probably aware there are a lot of bird taxidermists that should be doing something else! From the photos on the above mentioned website...the guy does awesome work. It looks like he's located in your area so maybe you can run by his shop and take a look. A great source for taxidermists is taxidermy.net. If you go to the bird forums you could likely find several world class bird taxidermists.
