How to darken bleached antlers?

Been experimenting with various methods to clean skulls for European mounts. I recently simmered a skull with antlers in peroxide, water, and Dawn dishwashing liquid. After about 3-4 hrs and the meat came off well, and the skull is nice and white. But, the base of the antlers is also bleached. Any recommendations on how to re-color them?

Get yourself some brush on/wipe off antler paint. I bought a kit years ago from Research Manikins, contains 4 colors (umber, black, red, & camel). Once painted, use a small damp rag to blend. I spray a flat matte to finish and seal. Let us know how she goes.

Get some instant coffee packets and mix them with water, then pack the sludge around the antler and let it set for a while. Works really well, according to my dad who does taxidermy.
