Mountain Mikes skull master kit

I got a nice mule deer this year that unfortunately tumbled down the mountain and the skull broke so the antlers are separated. I would like to mount the antlers some way. Has anyone seen what the Mountain Mikes skull master kit looks like finished? It allows mounting of separated antlers. They have the faux skull kit or another kit just on a wood plaque.

Do you still have the original skull? If so you can get it repaired and it will look better than on a repo skull. I've used Mike's several times for sheds. They turn out fine. Most people won't notice....other than anyone that has ever been around a real skull. I'd much rather repair the original skull; you'll need to cut the antlers off to use the Mike's kit. Where are you located?

I do not have the skull. My first thought was just to put antlers on a wood plaque but saw the skull kit. MM also has a repair kit for use on a mount. I am hesitant of the looks of the skull appearing plastic...

The mikes skull kit isn't too bad but like you said there is some detail lacking in the skull that gives it plastic look but it doesn't look as bad as yo might think. I know a few guys that actually burn the skull with a torch so that its not overly white and gives it more of a realistic feel to it.
