"Finished my Scimitar Horned Oryx"

We finished up my Scimitar Horned Oryx from the January Texas hunt. I was pretty careful to look for one with fairly straight horns, as I didn't want to do a lot of cutting and reshaping of the form like you will with the wide flaring ones. I really like how the hard 90 degree turn came out.

You forget just how impressive a 40" bull's horns are, until they are up against the wall. Enjoy!

Nice job, I just hate a 90 deg turn on any animal as you only see a side view . I know you can't mount that animal looking forward on a wall form. The only way I would mount my own personal Scimitar would be on a pedestal.
