I finished up this lion for a friend and It's the first life size lion I have mounted. My buddy is pretty tickled with how it turned out. What do y'all think?

Get some acrylic white paint and a 1 in brush and dry brush some highlights on that rock. Use very little paint . Just dab a couple drops of paint on the brush then remove the excess paint on piece of paper then lightly slap the edges of the rock. It will make that rock really stand out.

Opps sorry I misread your post. Scanned to quickly, guess tht happens when you get old. I will try and read more carefully in the future.

If that's your first lion attempt I think you did an awesome job. About 75% of guys that have done it for 20+ years can't get a cat to look right. Yours looks good. Good job.

Pretty Nice looking mount.

Great job...lots and lots of good things happening there.....I am a wildlife artist and have done several Lions snarling....you did ask but I would have liked the ears flattened back....for me it brings more of a bad ass energy to the face....good job
