A couple months ago my parents moved from their home of 25 years and the lion hanging on their wall in the trophy room picture would not fit through the doors of the new house. I was tasked with building a new base that would fit and give the mount new life. This is my first attempt at something like this and I truly enjoyed the process. There are a few things I wish I could do over but my dad liked the job and displays it proudly in the new house. The cat was originally mounted in 1998 so it is strange seeing it one way all my life and now being able to look at the same cat in a whole new light.
