In SLC.
Thanks,

LAST EDITED ON Aug-29-18 AT 11:47AM (MST)[p]Those rings for hanging rugs on a wall are either sown on or they are screwed on.
The screw on type can only be used if the feet areas were reinforced with something , like plywood.
If you can't feel anything hard like wood in the feet or ankle area, then the rings must be sown on.
Hardware of any type needed can be ordered from any taxidermy supply. But many hardware stores carry something similar that will work. A heavy waxed thread should be used for hardware attachment and can be plunged completely through the skin and felt for strength.
Not that hard to do DYI.

Still looking for a taxidermist in Utah who can sew on some D rings on to some rugs and hides for wall-hanging purposes..
Thanks,
Blixen

I'm looking to be in Crandell area of Wyoming near the Beartooth Highway in October.
If you don't mind driving over to meet me I'll slap em on for you.
Sorry to hear you can't find a guy to do it for you by now.
Hopefully someone will step up before then. But, if not, I'm sure I could be more than willing to oblige.
No cell service there for me so shoot me a message on my email [email protected] before the end of September and we'll get it worked out.
It won't be cheap though. Probably gonna have to have a chocolate or maybe pecan pie.
Though a really good apple might get it done.

Mills I would hold out for pie alamod just pulling your chain.
That is pretty dang good of you.
Where are you out of for your taxi work if you dont mind me asking.

I'm in Augusta ,West Virginia. It's in the Eastern panhandle of the state and a long way from Wyoming.
Good luck to all this fall.
And good luck with the draw.
